Where does long silver metal bar belong?

Check your installation instructions. The lock is "handed" incorrectly. If on a left-hand door, it's set up for right-hand.

You need to reposition (clip) the torssion bar under the spacebar key (a steel wire formed in a wide U shape), it is unhooked, call for a professionnal if you'r not sure how to do this as you may brake the plastic hinge if you don't know what you'r dooing...

it is one of the toner catridge assembly ,, you have to fix it into the toner..

You can easily fix your space bar. I fixed mine last month when my daughter pulled it out of the keyboard. I used this video tutorial guide to help install the space bar key back into place. Its really very simple. have a look:

If you remove the toner cartridge again and remove the roller (Registration Roller) one side of the roller has a gear and the other has a silver bar, well one spring goes under the gear on the left side and the other spring goes under the bar on the right side of the roller. The springs apply pressure to the paper against the toner cartridge so that the image is clean and dark. if you have any further questions let me know.

Take the wire piece out of the keyboard and attach it to the space bar by snapping the long horizontal section into the notched moldings you will see along one edge of the underside of the spacebar. Now turn the spacebar back over, orient it with the high side toward you and the lower side toward the other keys, fit the retainer ends into the slots in the keyboard, and push the spacebar center pin back into its hole. The wire is not really a retainer; it is there to transfer to the center pin any pressure applied to either end of the bar.

The space bar key is connected tothe keyboard a little bit differently then any other key.

There is a metal retainer connectedto the space bar key (on some keyboard models). Separate the retainer from thespace bar key with a flathead screwdriver.

Install the retainer back inplace as it shown on the picture. You have to engage the retainer with thesmall hooks on the keyboard.

Put the space bar key back inplace and gently press on it with fingers until it snaps back in place.

That’s it. The space bar key isinstalled back in place and should work as before. If you still cannot fix yourkeyboard, then you’ll have to find a new oneand replace it.

Changing the belt

My husband changed the belt on our vacuum, now the metal frame doesn't fit back on the bottom. Also, there is a small metal clip that we don't know where it belongs.
