Question about Computers & Internet
SOURCE: Weak connection with my xbox 360
The best way to make the wireless connection stable is to do some changes on the wireless settings of the router , like changing its wireless channel to the highest one to avoid any interference on your area.........

SOURCE: signal strength keeps varying
if you arent in a clear line of sight, many things can affect the signal strength of your network including the thickness of the walls, the composition of them and anything else that may be in the way. if you use a 2.4 ghz router and you have a 2.4ghz cordless house phone, they can interfere and cause issues. A microwave oven that is located between the router and a device can cause interference as well.

SOURCE: have wireless signal but no IP
Starting from the obvious, check that the cables are installed correctly.
You have to have a cable that brings the internet to your place.
Connect that cable into the router's jack labeled Connection to Modem.
Then get another network cable and plug it into any other jack form the back of your wireless router, and the other end into your laptop, just to make sure you are getting connected.
Once you are sure you can surf the net, unplug the wire from your laptop, and you should be able to surf wirelessly.
And if you still can't connect, let me know to perform additional steps.
