My dewalt lithium ion 20 volt max impact driver stopped working. The battery is good. What's wrong with it?

If you are absolutely convinced that the battery is good, then look for signs of corrosion on the contact points between the battery and power tool. Lightly sand/file them anyways and retry. If that does not work then you have to disassemble the power tool and look for signs of overheated contact points, ie, corrosion, discoloured wires, discoloured rotor, melted insulation, etc. Replace wires and re-solder, as needed. Good luck.

Needs batteries lionel collectable train watch need user guide and battery size

The Lionel Collectable Train Watch has 3 batteries in it. Two are for the whistle and one for the watch. All of them are V377 or 377 disk batteries. Gently pop off the back cover as most watches come off the same way. The battery by itself toward the middle is the train timepiece watch battery and is installed with the + side up toward you. The two batteries toward the edge are the whistle batteries, and you have to be very careful in changing them. Thee us a rotating contact that is plastic coated, over the batteries. NOTE: THE BATTERIES ARE NOT BOTH IN THE SAME DIRECTION. ONE IS UP AND ONE IS DOWN. (LOOK VERY CAREFULLY FOR A + AND - SIGN ON RIGHT NEXT TO EACH BATTERY.) For this reason, it is recommended to only change ONE battery at a time, so you will not get them mixed up. Gently spin the contact one direction, and one of the batteries will be clear and come out. Change that battery. Now rotate the contact back to the original position over both batteries, and continue rotating in that direction until the second battery is clear and can be removed. Change that battery. Now you can confirm that you still have one battery up and one down. Rotate the contact back to its original position, centering it on each battery. This contact has a layer of plastic material covering it on top so that it will not contact the watch case. If this plastic coating is damaged, it can damage the watch. If it is damaged, you might put a small piece of tape over the contact, to prevent other damage. NOTE that close to the edge of the watch is a very, very small spring sticking up. Make sure that spring is still vertical, as it is very delicate and can be damaged easily. That spring as well as the metal arm sticking up are part of the speaker circuit and must be in their place when the cover is replaced, as the speaker is in the cover. Now gently replace the cover until it snaps down. You will see the train moving around the dial and you can push the button and hear the whistle. Incorrect changing of these batteries by persons in jewelers departments of stores like Walmart and Target, have damaged more of these watches than you would like to believe. Hope this helps. (By the way, I do not have a brochure for the watch at this time.)

My remote control didn't work anymore. there's no light in the remote whenever i press it. Is these a problem of a battery in the remote or something else?

If the status light no longer illuminates when pressing the remote (where it did before), the most common reason is a dead battery. If, after changing the battery, the light still fails to illuminate, the problem may be corrosion on the contact points for the battery or, the buttons are not making contact on the circuit board.

Won't power up even with new batteries

The same thing happened to mine- over Thanksgiving! I did 2 things and one of the fixed it, but I don't know which one. The first thing I did was to take out the little cr1220 battery (I did this just to look at it). The next thing I did was to wipe the AA battery contacts (top and bottom) with a Qtip dipped in rubbing alcohol. I out in new AA batteries, and now my camera works!
Good luck!

Light indicated low batteries even though I changed

Your problem may be due to corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, the camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

If this response helped, please take a moment to post a rating for me. "Very Helpful" would be appreciated.

Zxr400 import, headlight works/doesn't work for no apparent reason, have changed fuses/battery/bulbs

How about the light switch or dimmer switch itself? This is old enough to have corrosion in the switch contacts from water entry. Try spraying WD-40 into the switch and operate it several times. Also, look into the headlight case area for corroded connections (light socket too) or loose connections in the wiring harness. Does the taillight wink on and off with the headlight?
