Hi Cindy,
I think that you're going to have to remove the control panel and see if you can get to thebuttons from the back. Make sure that power is off. http://nodevice.com/manual/haier

If the Spin button on your Aqualux 1200 Electrolux washing machine is not staying inside when pressed and comes out automatically after a few seconds, there could be a few possible causes:
Button malfunction: The button itself may be malfunctioning and not working properly. It could be a problem with the button's connection or the switch that it activates.
Control board issue: The control board is responsible for managing the functions of the washing machine. If it is malfunctioning, it may not be able to control the Spin button properly.
Motor or transmission issue: The motor and transmission are responsible for spinning the drum. If they are not working properly, the Spin button may not stay in.
Latch or door lock issue: If the latch or door lock is not working properly, it may not be able to keep the Spin button in position during the spin cycle.
It could be that a button is stuck "down" on the remote control.
Push every button on the remote, one at a time, and see if they all bounce back. If you find one that is stuck down, use a tooth pick to help it back to a normal position. 'Hope this helps.
check the dimmer switch and make sure its not "locked" in the on position. this will cause the lights to stay on. Also check the push buttons on the door to make sure they all move correctly. its possible one of them is stuck or broken.
The on/off COOL switch controls the moving pad (on rollers), when ON the pad rollers rotate and pull the pads around in a circle. Pad picks up water at the bottom and evaporates water at it rises, thus it is an evaporation cooler.
The on/off SWING switch controls the oscillating louvers which can be stationary or moving left and right. It directs the air flow from straight ahead to the sides.
Either can be on or off.
The Speed controls switch, which you did not mention, determines how fast the fan blades will spin.
Try doing another rinse cycle until water tank empties. I had to do that a couple of times, then the red exclamation mark came on. Then I turned knob to off position, refilled water tank, pressed the descale button for 6 seconds, green light came back on and it did its priming.
Sorry to read about your problem. this should be your E68 problem
You have a defective button on the control board. The best thing to do is go into the diagnostic mode. Turn the dial to Normal. Press and hold the Select and Pause/Cancel keys for 6 seconds, or until the Drying/Cool Down/Press Saver/Clean Lint Filter lights come on. Then press the Start and Pause/Cancel Buttons 4 seconds. This puts you into the diagnostic mode to check the keys. Now, turn the dial 4 O'clock position, or 75. This will allow you to check all your buttons. As you press each key, it will light all the lights above it. When you press a key and it does nothing or the lights above any certain key stays on without pushing it, this button is stuck. If you can't clear it, you probably have to replace the control board.
