HP LaserJet Pro P1606DN Laser Printer with Auto Duplex Printing Logo

How do I fix HP LaserJet P1606dn printing issue? it continues to print vertical line/ smudge on the far left of the printed document. Does anyone have any suggestion regarding this issue?

Steps I have taken to identify the cause of the problem: 1. Replace the cartridge/ toner with the same result 2. I am assuming it is not the pickup roller issue? since the problem is only on the far left side of the sheet 3. If this is not the cartridge and the pickup roller issues, where else can I look or check?

The smudges on the side of the paper is most likely a piece of something rubbing against the paper just after the printer puts the ink on the paper. Inspect as much as possible the path that paper takes. Look at rollers. Anything that grab the paper. Look for ink and dust build up. As for the vertical lines. Could be several things. I you haven't used you printer for awhile the ink in the nozzle could of dried up. Most new printers have a nozzle cleaning function. Try that it a couple of times. See if that helps. If it shows any sign of change after that, it dried up ink. It's a hassle to try to get the ink flowing again. I normally just to replace the cartridges. Let me know if this helps or not.

Testimonial: "Hey Daniel, In order to do a thorough inspection, I would need to unscrew some screws on the printer. However, I have already replaced the cartdridges once. Do you know, where else should I expect without having to remove any screw? Thank you for your answer."

HP LaserJet 1012 that was vertical streaking on the whole page

Sadly, the following HP support page offers about 8 dirrerent possible solutions, some of which you may have tried. You likely will have to try the others to see if they eliminate the problem.

Myself, I would download the HP Print and Scan Doctor just to see if it worked any magic or offered advice. Alternatively, Here is the support page related to printing issues with this printer: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00599279

My hp laser jet printer p1606dn is printing vertical lines n the left of the document and its missing all the left side of the doc

From this limited information, I suggest you remove the toner cartridge and tip it left to right several times to re-disperse toner. Put it back in place and try printing again. If the doesn't work, your toner is likely low or empty.

My HP LaserJet 1300 printer smudges the entire document and the toner is very faint. The cartridge has toner in it.

It means your machine needs cleaning. You can purchase cleaning sheets from the office supply store, and insert it like a regular document, hit print, and the dirt comes off.

HP Laserjet 3330 printed dark page especially around the middle

Does this happen both when copying and printing?
For printing solution, try another toner cartridge.
If lines continue to appear when copying (primarily through the automatic feeder) then lift the auto feeder, and clean the glass -mainly the narrow piece on the left side.

please rate solution :)
