It'll work listening to the radio just fine for about 5 minutes, then the sound goes away.

...and the remote doesn't work. After unplugging and replugging the system from the wall, all is good again...for about 5 minutes.

If you are running at high volume for even a short period of time, the overload signal to the microprocessor(computer within your unit) will cause the unit to shut down. If you are running it that loud, try turning the level to 1/3 of your normal listening mode. If it runs, try to keep the volume with reason.

My RCA keeps quitting on me.

U have a part in there that is changing value as it is used or gets hot.
Look for a bad capacitor in the power supply - when that goes bad everything shuts down.

Also check the plug going into the wall for a sound connection with the wall receptacle.

Issue with Samsung LE32B450. After the TV has been on for about 5 minutes, when you change channel the screen goes blank and the sound goes off. However, the TV is still on as pressing the power but

Just do a hard reset to this set and check. Unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 10 minutes or so. This must make it a hard reset.

Ford F 150 Radio stuck in Phone mode

Hi,
Leave the battery disconnected overnight - NOTE THE ALARM AND OTHER BATTERY DEPENDENT ITEMS MAY NEED RESET, or just pull the fuse for the radio - read your owner's manual..
If it still doesn't reset, you'll need to remove the radio or see if it has a reset option on the radio.

Without knowing the model of your remote or direct tv box it is impossible to answer that question other than to say, did you try unplugging the power from the box, waiting a minute or two and plugging it back in?

My remote for my LT55164 just stopped,,,working. Have reset tv (unplug for 20 min) Driving me f'ing crazy

To troubleshoot the remote control problem, follow this step. 1. Check the battery (new if possible) 2. Get a ordinary radio then scan the radio to no signal frequency...just a buzz song will be okay. 3. Try to point your remote control in front of your radio, then press any keys (numbers or anything) 4. If you heard some sound to the radio while pressing the keys 4.a Your remote control is working fine. 5. If you did not heard anything while pressing the keys 5.a Your remote control is not working. You need to replace it or just buy a universal remote control (cheapest way to do).
Thanks. Hope this helps.

you probably have your amp hooked up to your power antenna remote. there should be another blue wire (probably blue with a white stripe) that is for amp remote.

Can not change "Device" input, no sound control,no remote control

I unplugged the manual switch electrical connection. Everything works just fine with the remote.
Not sure what is wrong with the switches just yet, but suspect a resistor problem. I have checked all voltages and have 5.04 v feeding the switch assembly on what I feel are the correct circuits
(5v, ksco, ksc1, man/reset). I have no voltage on the ground circuit with the board plugged in, so the ground circuit should be ok. I have tested all switches with ohmmeter, all switches work. I suspect a resistor problem as I have one with no voltage drop and one resistor with no voltage pass-thru. Would need a wiring schematic with values to pinpoint better.
