RCA 27v520t menu is blocked and wont let me into menu

I recently received this set as a gift, could not turn set on unless we used remote. once on, set was obviously set to local antenna. we have cable but cant receive the other channels because once the menu section is reached, there is nothing i can select. it simply states. "Bloq FPA Encend" of course its in another language but i cannot change the setting, hence the title. There must be a way to reset television set. Plz help

Accidently locked the fpa using menu button on the tv. Can't find the remote.

Hello
Without its original remote control it is difficult to unlock your RCA tv. If you haven't one, try to get it from any one amoung your friends who owns your model for just to unlock your TV. If you can do this, inform me by Fixya. I'll send you the proceedings to unlock your RCA TV. ok.

My tv is a model 27v412t, and i was trying to put the closed caption manually since I lost my remote control and ended up blocking it. At the screen appeared Block on, I tuned off and now it wont turn...

Hello mar...... You will have to either find the remote or replace it as it is the only way to get into the closed caption menu. If you want a replacement factory remote you can go on line at http://www.replacementremotes.com/

Just bought a used older model rca tv parental controls locked. any master codes to bypass parental control

If you forget your password, press and hold TV on the remote and the
MENU button on the television
simultaneously for 3 seconds. Parental
controls will then unlock and you can re-enter a password via Lock
Parental Controls.

Make sure you aim the remote at the TVs sensor while you press the TV button, and hold the menu button in on the front of the television.

How can I override a password setting on my RCA tv.

There's a couple of things to try with this one.

Idea 1: Press and Hold the TV button on the remote, whilst also holding the Menu button on the TV.

If that doesn't work, then try:

Idea 2: Go into the menu, select Parental Lock, and press Mute, Display, Clear, and Reset buttons in sequence.
Hope that helps - if not, let me know as there are a few more options to try :)

RCA 27V412T FPA LOCK ON & REMOTE LOCK

If the front panel lock is on, you will need a working original remote (or a universal remote properly programmed for RCA) to turn the set on. The IR receiver is next to the buttons on the fromt but the RCA IR receivers are very reliable, and I have yet to see a bad one in a modern RCA TV. Once you turn the set on by remote, you can enter the menu and turn the FPA off.
