Same problem, battery door cover is broken. I tried the site suggested, but cannot retrive the page. I tried using duc tape, but it only holds for a short time. Your memory card is larger than 2GB, isn't it? The CX7330 works with MMC and SD cards. If your card is larger than 2GB then it's actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into the camera, they are electronically incompatible and won't work in the CX7330.
Fasano, for your case you need to contact repair center of Kodak at 1 800 665 6515, or you can go to any local camera repair shop and have your camera repair.
I did the same thing. Is the little medal piece still on the inside of the battery cover. If not you will have to replace the entire door and you should be all set.
I've got 16 of these cameras and had to replace the door on 3 of them. (I'm a teacher)
it is quite simple, but there are little tiny screws and some dexterity required! to replace the battery door, you need a super small screwdriver (I've used both an eyeglass size and the screwdriver that came with my son's tech deck!) . you'll have to unscrew all of the small screws that hold on the back of the camera. remember which screws go to which hole - because some are longer than others. once the screws are out, you'll have to gently pry off the cover. carefully - you dont want to crack the camera case. you'll also want to be careful not to touch the sensor, which will be exposed with the case off.
NEXT you;ll have to pry the little spring out of the battery door to actually remove the old door. you'll probably have to use a screw driver to pull the spring on the new door back enough to fit back into the holes. that's really all there is to it. replace the cover and the screws.
Try ebay. They have it all. You might be able to find a camera that doesn't work but is being sold for parts. I see stuff like that on there all the time.
