Sounds like the positve cable on the starter or the fuse link is loose or going bad. Check for good clean connections at battery, starter and fuselinks. This should solve or get you in the right direction.

I have no power at all when the key is in , no light in the dash nothing

Do you have headlights with the headlight switch on? That would eliminate a battery connection problem. If things like headlights and brake lights work, one should next check that power is getting to the ignition switch. If you pull the connector under the dash off for the ignition switch, there should be a hot-at-all-times wire going to the ignition switch. Check with a test light or voltmeter. If no power to the switch, back to the fuse box by the battery-an ignition fuse may have blown. If power is available to the switch, suspect a bad ignition switch.

My truck just died when i was driving it.all my guages quit working and now the wipers dont work glow plug doesnt light up..horn doesnt work but headlights do and it wont start

Offhand I would say that the Ignition Relay or Ignition switch is bad. You will not be able to start a cold diesel without the Glowplugs. If you think about what works and what does not work when the ignition key is not turned on, many of the things match your problems.

If you lost your Ignition the truck would stall and just quit. Usually the headlights would still work. The Wipers would not work without the Ignition being in the ON position. Not sure how your horn is wired but most Honk with the Ignition in any position.

Now there is a difference when you say it won't start: whether you mean it does not crank or that it cranks but will not start. If the Ignition is working-the Glow plug Timer should cycle, but it will need power from the power Relay. So when you turn the key you should hear the timer.

There can be a Master power fusible link. It should be near the battery. You can go register your truck at Autozone.com and get free wiring diagrams.

Please comment on my info.

My 98 jeep grand cherokee wont start. It doesnt even click or turn over. battery is fine, headlights, dome lights, all go on. Radio doesnt work with ignition on. I checked ALL the fuses, I replaced the...

fuse 8 40a supplies power to starter relay and ignition switch, to close the starter solenoid and engage the starter which draws directly from the battery. check to see that the starter relay is closing, if not ensure that the park neutral switch is not faulty (open circuit), it provides path to close relay (ground side) on the 85 - 86 terminals. if the starter relay does not close the starter will not run. if you have a spare relay swap out the relay for a quick fix attempt. hope this helps

All warning lighhts comes on in the dash then all

There are some issues with the chrysler products and ignition switches. The electrical part of the switch can burn and cause voltage issues to many parts of the system. With it being intermittent it is a good place to start.
Good luck

No power to ignition switch

There should be one large hot wire going to the ignition switch thaqt has power at all times...I would check that wire and trace it back to the battery. Quite possibly, it will connect to a fusable link coming from a main junction such as the alternator or the power distribution block. Either the link has failed or there is a bad connection there. I'm going to look through any diagrams I have and see if I can find anything else that may be helpful but that's a good start for now.

Sudden shut down

Hmm, this sounds like a electrical problem involving the ignition control module (computer) or the body control module.  They may not be bad but they are not getting power.  This could be due to one of many connection or relay problems.  Unless you know how to diagnose electrical problems yourself, you will need to get it to the shop.
