My Panasonic plasma TV will not operate for 2 - 3 days after the power is disconnected from it. After a few days it's good as new. Any suggestions on how to restart it sooner?
So how is it it always comes back on after 2 or 3 days? This has happened at least 5 times. So how is it it always comes back on after 2 or 3 days? This has happened at least 5 times.

Wait a few days and see. There are some panny's that will not work for a few days when you have a power interruption, and it takes a while for them to come back on. If nada, then check the PS for voltages.
Its probably the main filter capacitor thats gone on the power supply, (sorry for mentioning power supply again but it is actually a power supply problem) If you are good at soldering then you can replace yourself, Google Panasonic capacitors and there are a few company that sell repair kits including the capacitors for about £30. Youll need to be good with a soldering iron to replace and make sure you either discharge the capacitors before you touch them or leave the tv plugged out for at least a day because they hold a charge and can really hurt you if they are still charged when you go at them. Best of luck.
On Panasonic 32LX TVs this is a known fault, repairable by a firmware upgrade. John Lewis in the UK sent out an engineer under their free 5 yr TV guarantee and completed the firmware upgrade for me. The only other store to compare with them for price and service is Richer Sounds but I believe you now have to buy the warranty for 10% of the purchase price. This problem will persist unless the upgrade is completed. For those of you in the UK, I would insist the seller repairs the problem under the Sale of Goods and Services Act as the TV is not fit for purpose without the upgrade.
This fault is most likely caused by the plasma panel itself, which would be prohibitively to replace. I suggest contacting Panasonic service and tell them about your problem. I have known Panasonic to be very good in the past, often still helping out even when the item is out of warranty.
U WILL LAUGH, WHERE THE PLUG GOES INTO THE ACTUAL TV, NOT THE WALL, PUSH IT IN BETTER...I HAD EXACT PROBLEM AND CAME FROM 2 1/2 DAYS FROM GETTING NEW PLASMA!!! WHEEEW
2 blinks means the unit is having problem with 12 volt supply.
while power on you can check 12DC on power supply before shutdown.if the voltage is constant before shut down I would recommend to replace D board.
Turn everything off and disconnect from mains. Wait a few minutes. Disconnect HDMI cable. Turn on TV and DVD. Connect cable. If this does not work use a cable of different spec. I had the same problem and now mine works . Good luck. T.P.
