When you did a reset the RCA lost the code necessary to authenticate (confirm) the connection. You need to review data on resetting codes in your manual. IF you can't find that information; then contact the manufacturer for assistance, or try YouTube.
You are not saying what devices you are trying to connect to each other and what operating systems are on those devices. There are several things that can cause this. Sharing has to be enabled, if you are using a computer as one or both devices then the sharing has to be on both machines. Also a workgroup or homegroup must be setup
It will say Authenticating problem unless you have the passkey to the other WiFi networks. So unless its your WiFi or an open network you won't be able to connect.But you can try rebooting your device.
Check your wifi password correctly. If you are the owner of the wifi router you are connecting try to press the refresh icon button located on the side of your router.
You don't know the password to your wi-fi protected setup. They changed the password when they changed your equipment. Ensure you have the correct password and that you are not too far from the access point.
