Disconnect
the ground cable from the negative battery terminal by loosening the
retaining bolt and pulling the clamp off the terminal.
Locate the heater motor access panel. It will be a flat piece of black plastic underneath the dash on the passenger side of the Caravan, just behind the glove box. Use a socket to remove the five screws that secure the access panel to the dash.
Disconnect the plastic electrical connector from the heater
motor by prying the retaining tab away from the connector with a
flat-head screwdriver and pulling the connector off the motor.
Use a socket to remove the four screws that secure the heater
motor to the dash. Pull out the heater motor and fan blades as an
assembly.
Remove the nut in the center of the fan blades that secure the fan blades to the motor's shaft.
s this sound like a noisey fan . if older model i would replace the fan motor . / other problem could be the fan blade has moved on the motor shaft . so just replace the fan balde .. mm
The pump/motor assembly on these dishwashers have a soft food cutter
that helps to cut up smal soft food particles. This may be your problem.
These cutter blades can sometimes get loose or something can get hung
up in them like a broken piece of glass or some other pieces of trash
that they can not handle.
You can access these blades by removing the sump cover near the rear of
the bottom of the inside of the dishwasher. remove the bottom rack and
take a couple of screws out of the sump cover. you can feel down in
the sump and see if there is any trash caught up here or in the blades.
If this is not the problem and you have an older dishwasher - you could
have a problem with a loose fan blade in the motor. If this is the case I
would run it til it dies. The motor/pump assembly is about $125+.
The newer motors are a lot quieter.
If everything is working ok. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Take out the shelves and side hangers. SWITCH OFF.
There is usually a panel at the back of the oven cavity, undo the screws around it to access the fan blade. At this point you should be able to determine if there is another panel that the fan mounts onto that comes out through the front. (unlikely). Undo the centre nut on the fan blade which is usually a left hand thread - turn clockwise to undo. Take off the fan blade.
Next you gotta get to the rear of the oven and remove the back panel to access the fan motor. Once inside note down where the wires go. Remove wires from motor.
Back inside the oven cavity you will find screws that hold the motor in place (often three). Have someone hold the motor while you undo them. The motor should now be withdrawn from the rear.
Replace motor in reverse order.
First and foremost unplug the unit from the receptacle. Raise the blade as high as it will go and have it set to 0 degrees in a vertical position. Remove the throat plate (usually red) so you can access the bolt holding the blade in place. The saw came with a wrench for this purpose. It may have even come with 2 wrenches. One to remove the bolt holding the blade on and another to place behind the blade on the shaft to hold the motor. If it only has one wrench look for a small hole in the blade and use a screwdriver to keep the blade from turning. If there is no tool or hole to hold the blade then use a heavy scrap piece of wood to hold the blade while you remove the bolt. As you remove the blade notice the direction the teeth are pointing and put the new blade on turning in the same direction. You just reverse the procedure to put the new blade on.
NOTE: Some saws have a motor lock that locks the motor and blade in position making it easier to change the blade. Just be very careful as it is easy to cut yourself on the blade.
dirty condenser coils or the condenser motor is not working, clean the coils with a vacuumm and brush and make sure the condenser fan motor behind the ref. is working. their is a access panel behind the ref. remove the access panel in rear and look for a motor, the blade should be spinning if the ref is running. be careful blade is sharpe dont touch blade if turning. motor runs around 29.99-89.99. and labor 75-125.00 depending on who u use and were u live . sometimes we find objects, pests caught in the blades. check all that before u call for servive . hope this helps.
you cannot remove the blower intact with the motor. The motor has to be accessed from the front the motor shaft has to be held still with vise grips and then the blower has to be twisted off. This repair is trickey and should be done by a service tech.
Take the main wash arm off and the sump cover below it. Remove the part you'll find under that to gain access to the cutter blade attached to the end of the motor shaft. Remove blade but note that this is a LEFT HAND SCREW. Now lay dishwasher on it's side and remove screws and electrical plug to motor. Reverse procedure to install new motor. It's not really very difficult.

Remove 4 screws holding the cover.Remove the bottom of the freezer compartment by removing screws and pulling bottom straight out.Remove Styrofoam panel from freezer by cutting tape along side edge.Once the Styrofoam panel is removed you will see fan blades.O n the front of the fan blade there is a spring.Pull the spring off by pulling straight forward with pliers or fingers.Remove the 3 screws holding the fan motor to the refrigerator in the rear access panel. The Motor should now be free.Unplug the plug from the connector by lock latch and pulling straight up.Now you must free the fan blade from the fan motor.Grasp the fan motor and pull straight out. This fan blade is really hard to get off.Try separating the two halves of the blade, where you removed the spring, with a screw driver. The motor is available from Repairclinic.com.Good luck.
