How do I remove and replace the inverted bag filter?

Inverted filter bags can be tough to remove. The best way is to grab the bag closest to the top portion where it attaches to the canister. The bag is locked in place by a metal rings that presses out. You want to grab a portion of the bag (some bags have a holder tab) and pull towards the center. The goal is to make a C shape of the ring that is holding the bag in place. Once the bag collapse into a C shape, the bag can be removed and cleaned or replaced. The same technique is best for re-installing the new or cleaned bag.

Passenger side air bag cover

I would advise not removing the air bag as serious injury or death can result from customer working on air bag units, the whole unit needs to come out to replace the cover if it is replaceable. A qualified technician is the best for this.

How to replace wheels on hartmann garment bag

Some wheels are attached to the bags through screw or bolts, which are securing hardware and easy to remove. When such wheels need replacement, you can replace them by yourself. Some are attached to the bags through rivets, which require you to ask for professional removal and repairing service in case that they are broken. Some wheels of rolling garment bags can't be removed and replaced.

How do you attach the bag to the barracuda 2595 blower

The motor housing has a spring loaded, hinged cover over the fan blades (so you don't chop your fingers off when using it as a blower). Open the cover using a screwdriver or narrow tool. Holding the cover open, attach the vacuum tube. Attach the collection bag to the discharge port (same place you attach the blower tubes) and secure in place using the velcro strip sewn onto the bag. Adjust the ******** the bag to fit your shoulder, turn power on and go. To empty the bag, just unzip the bag completely. Make sure you tighten the velcro strip so the bag doesn't come off while you are sucking up leaves.

My Bissell power force vacum cleaner release peddle is broken causing the vacum to fall down my husband found that the attachment inside was broken how can I get a replacement.

The best thing to is to find a bissell dealer near you. most vacuums are covered under warranty and no one takes advantage of it instead they go out and spend money on something that could have been free. bissell.com would be the best resourse for that.

I have a Challenge GBV180 Garden Blower Vacuum. I can only get it to blow ..does this model vacuum and if so how do the bits attach ?

remove the blower tube by turning anticlockwise. remove cover from air inlet same way. attach large diameter suction tube to air inlet (has to fit correctly as this is where the safety switch is) attach collection bag to air exhaust opening (where you removed the blower tube from)

Kirby sentria

remove the cloth bag from the bottom it twists counter clockwise, un clip the bag from the top remove the head piece, turn the belt lifter clockwise and release the lever to remove the head, take off the head, in your attachments there should be a screen that covers the impeller that the belt rides on it goes on like the brush head, put your hose onto the bag port by turning clockwise. there it is it will not work without the screen cover. thanks Rene

In front of the screen you should see little rubber contact pieces shoild be about 4- 6 remove these and underneath are the screws to remove housing.
Inside you will see how lcd screen is attached.
Remove lcd screen then replace what you need to. This is the same for most laptops and I would just google your model # tofind out exactly how to.

Old (60's /70's??) commercial type Hoover guardsman upright: connection between bag or bag cover and the main 'vacuum' became disconnected. Can't seem to reattach.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Most of the older Hoover Comm’l type vacuums have a shake our bag with a slide on clamp – so you would keep the clamp & then either the bag usually is wired on @ the bottom of the fill area & would need to re-attach if the outer bag is still in good shape. If not then I suggest that you replace the bag and clamp if needed. include the brand name & model # with your request to either company. Questions? Contact the Hoover website or Hoover cust service @ the info listed below. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
