Cruise control not working when it was it seammed to make the motor run very ruff when i disengaged it by using brake pedal

If the cruise control makes the engine seem to run very rough until disengaging it, there could be a problem with the engine itself. As, most cruise control systems just pull on the throttle cable to maintain speed on the highway based on setting the speed with the button.

So, I would look into the engine maybe having an issue with spark plugs, or wires, or another tuneup or mechanical issue.

How do you remove the ignition coil

Each ignition control module (ICM) has the following circuits:
An ignition 1 voltage circuit A chassis ground An ignition control circuit for each cylinder A low reference circuit
The PCM controls spark by pulsing the ignition control circuits to the ICM to trigger the coils and fire the spark plugs. The PCM and ICM are internally protected against shorts to power and ground on the ignition control circuits.

The spark plugs are connected to each coil by a short boot. The boot contains a spring that conducts the spark energy from the coil to the spark plug. The spark plugs are tipped with platinum for long wear and higher efficiency.

Ignition Control Module (ICM) Connectors

Clicking noise

I believe it is the Lighting Control Module taht is just above the brake pedal. It controls your headlights, tail lights, alarm system, air bag on steering wheel and a host of other things It is $499 new, $250 from tascafordparts.com and much less used on Ebay or at car-part.com (look for page with * for cheapest price.) There are many different modules so be sure to get yours by part number on your module.
It should only click when you activate something it controls, like headlamps. And then it should click just once.
put your head under driver side of dash & see if it's just above brake pedal where the clicking is coming from. Do you have something electrical not working due to the clicking?
