SOURCE: How do you know when the lakewood 7101 needs more

Your heater is sealed and never needs any more oil than already is there. In the unlikely event when the oil leaks out - replace the whole heater.

The power cord goes the switch terminal 1 and 3.
Terminal 2 must be the opposite of terminal 1, such that when switched on, 1 & 2 connects. Terminal 4 must be the opposite of terminal 3, such that 3 & 4 connects.
Under this setup, you may connect red to terminal 2
and black to terminal 4.
Be sure of the 1 & 2 pair, as well as the 3 & 4 pair.
then, connect the red and black wires.
Hope this will help you.

I can't seem to find a wiring diagram for a lakewood oil filled heater model 7101. Anyone have one they can take a pic of it for me

There are a couple of videos in this link. DO NOT click the link on the first website, or any others that ask you to click 'ALLOW' with a goofy robot image. They are Russian hacker sites.

Need new electric cord for model 7000/a lakewood heater oil filled

Depending on handy you are, the power cords for heaters can be replaced, but may require soldering or other electrical and mechanical skills. You MUST replace the cord with one that has the same amperage and heat ratings.....that goes for the plug too.
