Generally speaking, belt tracking issues are usually due to one or more of the shafts that support the pulleys not being perpendicular to each other - this applies to everything from treadmills to fan belts. Check and correct if possible: that the motor is securely mounted in the housing and that it is not installed crooked; and that the shafts aren't loose or have sloppy side to side movement. Belts should be tight - but not overly so.

My kitchenaid blender won't work. Lights for all the settings come on but motor won't start

I expect you will find that the motor is open circuit. There is a thermal fuse incorporated into one of the field windings which can be replaced with a bit of messing about. A job for a retired appliance service person if you want to keep the price down. Did one today, took about an hour from start to finish.

Braun type 4191 blender shaft coupling faulty

I had the same problem, the authorized service told they cant fix it, so i tried it. First, I show you the solution:

You see the black one you attach the heads to. The axis come from the motor with the little teeths: the black plastic wore away that's why the motor works but the end doesnt rotate.
You can simply pull the black one out with a pliers with medium force and if you get a new one(thats the hardest, they wont sell you) that will works.

For the mankind, ive totally flatten out my type 4191, so i show you some pics, how to solve yours:

if you had problem with the motor, simply cut it half. You wont harm anything, the motor is in a metal cylinder.

If you have some promblem with the electronic part, its in the end of the blender. You can open it at the top, but you cant reach anything form there, nor here, sad story.
finally some photos from the bottom:

The coupling to the motor is loosely rotating on the motor shaft. Has the threads on the coupling worn out. it is a breville optiva cbl6 blender

The coupling bush wear out in due time and must be replaced. if there is a wearing detected it must be changed or it will result in failure of the bush/ bearings of the motor and jar. You will need to remove using anti clockwise direction, Get the correct spare part from the dealer to replace. Good day

Motor just buzzes will not rotate tried new capacitor,no help

you may have a loose coupling or drive stud. These are the items just below the jar. you can use a pair of pliers and tighten the coupling or drive stud. If it is not just loose, but stripped, you will need a new one. hope this helps

Connection between the motor and the blender unit (where the spinning takes place) - get extremely hot and blender does not seem to blend well. Motor works fine without the top - and the top seems to spin...

Replace the blade assembly immediately. They are available from Cuisinart's website. Sugars and other stuff can gum up the blade assembly over time, so it will periodically need to be replaced. A quick and easy way to keep the blade assembly clean and working longer is to put water and a drop of dishwashing soap in the blender after use and run the blender at low speed for 15-20 seconds - an old Osterizer trick.

Kitchen Aid Blender - blade not rotating

You will definitely need to change the clutch blade i.e. the black rubber rotating bit. Chaging it on the base unit may be difficult, I would check with your local Kitcheaid repairer for spare parts and repair advice.

Also check the clutch blade on the jug itself.

Blender blade not turning, rotating piece on base not connected

this is getting more and more common there is a part between the motor and the drive gear that snaps for no reason . its job is to snap if the blades jam as a "fuse" to save your house from a overheating ,jammed motor . the problem is there are no parts to buy to fix this . if its new take it back to where you bought it . otherwise shipping it 2 ways for repair to the factory is sometimes as much or more as a new blender ........ i would recomend you do one of two things : go to a goodwill or other type shop and get a nice vintage blender , it will last forever ! or move up to a vita mix . its costly but it will realy last you ... this new made in china junk is just bad news even when it has the kitchen aid name on it . its still the same junk ..... good luck........ Please if this answer helped , please rate this 3 or 4 stars . and keep me in the paid answer department . A 1 or 2 may knock me down into the unpaid ranks. Thanks Cactus Bob .

Jack La Lanne's Health Master 100

First determine..if it is indeed the motor that is fried. Do this by not using the caraffe. Plug in the motor and run it by itself. If it runs fine without smoking again..It is the caraffe that is defective.
If its the motor you are out of luck completely. Jack Lalanne is out of business.
If it is the caraffe..which I suspect it is not...oil the rim of the bearing that is on the outside of your caraffe ..it surrounds the knurled part that is inserted into the blender...even if you are able to get the motor repaired..get in the habit of oiling the caraffe bearing after each time you use it. If you dont it will fail within months to a year of use
Lalanne had they made in China..and using unsealed bearinga that rust out and the contents of the blender come out!! So I discovere dthat oiling that part each time after use..keeps my blender running smoothly.
You might want to take yoru motor to a small appliance repairman..he might find something simple happened.. like a loose wire connection inside! If he does...you have a simple solution and a motor that works!
Remember to oil the bearing a couple drops each time after use...and if yoru caraffe ever fails you can buy a new one..( Oil that one too!) at Cooking Toys..you can google for the address

How to install replacement part

You need the remove the old gray rubber knob. I did it in a barbaric way just hacking at it with scissors. Once you've removed all the rubber, you can use pliers to remove the remaining metal base. Once that's removed, place the new piece on the post and spin it on. Most important, spin clockwise to loosen, not counter clockwise like most items.
