Modem instalation problem

Yes, you can do it.
Downloading the driver will result in a file you can copy over to the flashdrive.
Just do not double-click on the file, because that will start the installation process.
In the unlikely case that the file auto-starts the installation process, you will normally have the option to Cancel the installation.

This error means The modem is not installed or configured for Dial-Up Networking. You need to check for modem driver in your device manager and if not present do install it

Go to "codec all in 1" on the net. Install these files and you should be on your way. This happens with Window Media Player and Divx Player.

I also would recommend you use ethernet since you do not have to install any software to make it work.

You will need to reboot the cable modem when ever you change how its connected also Ethernet/USB or if it was connected to a different PC.

I HAVE SOLVED THIS PROBLEM. before installing this driver uninstall all motorolla driver. and install only charging driver.
after then install the driver file named 'moto_w230_gprs.inf' (available on internet) on same port on which charging driver is installed yhen write the code" AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","INTERNET" in extra initialization string on modem. (internet is access point network) use another if u have other networks

set the baud rate of ur modem 230kbps
write the user name andf password
and fone number '+cgdata' without quotes and then try
i have cheked on telenor pakistan its working fine

WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO USE YOUR PHONE AS A MODEM..IF SO IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU MAY HAVE A BAD PROGRAM TRY TO GOOGLE UP DRIVER FOR YOU PHONE AND RUN PROGRAM FROM CURRENT LOCATION..IF YOU ARE USING THE PHONE AS A MODEM ,SAT.OR DSL IS CHEAPER...IF YOU ARE NOT ONLINE TRY TURNING YOUR FIREWALL OFF AND GO SLOWLY THROUGH PROGRAM WIN INSTALLING ,FIRST UN-INSTALL OLD PROGRAM THEN INSTALL AGAIN DO NOT NEVER CONNECT ANYTHING UNTIL IT TELLS YOU TO SO MANY PEOPLE GET AHEAD OF THEMSELVES AND IT CONFUSES THE PC.

M200? Is this a Toshiba laptop? Error Code 10 can mean many things, but the first thing I would try is a Driver Upgrade. Reliable Drivers can usually be found at the manufacturer's website.

Yes it can happen after a reinstall.. You will need to go into the computer ie take the back off. Pull the modem out and put it back in in another slot exact to the one you pulled it out of. Try it again it will no doubt read this time.. It can only be done this way if you try to manually install a moderm it will load the standard one NOT your Modem. Goodluck!
