The HT630 scanner is a handheld barcode scanner, and an error message can occur for a number of reasons. Here are a few steps you can try to clear the error message on your scanner:
Check the user manual: The user manual for the scanner should have a list of error messages and the corresponding solutions. Look for the error message that you are seeing and follow the instructions provided to clear it.
Restart the scanner: Sometimes, simply restarting the scanner can clear an error message. To do this, turn off the scanner and then turn it back on again.
Check the connections: Make sure that the scanner is properly connected to the host device, such as a computer or a mobile device. Check the cable connections and ensure that they are securely connected.
Check the battery: Make sure that the scanner has enough battery power. If the battery is low, the scanner may display an error message. Charge the scanner or replace the battery if necessary.
Update the scanner firmware: Make sure that the scanner's firmware is up to date. Outdated firmware can cause errors and malfunctions. Contact the manufacturer for instructions on how to update the firmware.
Factory reset: If none of the above steps work, you can try performing a factory reset on the scanner. This will erase all the configurations and settings and will set the device to its original state. Check the user manual or contact the manufacturer for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
If the error message persists after trying these steps, it's recommended to contact the manufacturer or a professional technician for further assistance.
It's worth to mention that, Each scanner has a specific error code, some error codes can only be cleared by the manufacturer, by sending the scanner to repair or by a firmware update.

when I turn my printer on (Epson Artisan 700 series printer) it waits for about 5 to 7 seconds and then displays a message that says "A scanner
error has occured. Please see your documentation". Then all the lights
start flashing, And then I cant do anything, but turn the
printer off.
I have turned it off and unplugged it and tryed again always same result.
Does the message shows after few pages scanning or is there any
panel error message like J-1 on scanner start up?
If the issue
occurs during scanner start up, then there are staple pins or dirt might
be stuck inside the US Sensor panel inside the scanner. Cleaning and
removing the objects will resolve the issue.
If the error occurs
after few pages scanning, then you may have to check the Pick Roller,
Brake Roller, Pinch Roller and US Sensor FX status. you may have to
replace any of the above, if damaged or worn off.
Hope the above
information is helpful.
Please check your device first and get back to

Does the scanner displays any error message on the scanner panel? Is there any TWAIN error message?
If paper jam occurs, U1 error will be displayed on the scanner panel and TWAIN driver will display " Paper jam the ADF (Code DS32002)" error message.
This error is detected when one of the followings occurs:
1) A document does not reach the TOP sensor while the scanner has transported the document about 250 mm to pick. (The scanner performs retry operation.)
2) The trailing edge of a document does not reach the TOP sensor after the scanner transports the document by the length (L) below. (The document may have slipped on the rollers) Scan condition Transported length.
In order to assist you with your scanner issue, Please provide the issue details with error message.
If nothing is being displayed, then the issue could be due to failure in Pick Motor function or Pick Sensor malfunction.
Don't worry about the clean roller message. It is just a reminder much like your scheduled maintenance light that appears in your car.
Start Failure can occur for a number of reasons. When you get a start failure message close your scanning software and reopen it. Sometimes your connection may degrade if left idle. If that doesn't work shut down the scanner and pc. Turn on the scanner and wait until it is fully initialized before turning on the PC. These steps have resolved that problem for me. Lacking a manual, I just try things. Good Luck
