To solve this problem on the left side of the base there is a inset dial that has 1-4 around it turn it so it points towards the number 2 this should make the headset beep when recieving calls.

Kyocera lingo..5 minute beep..help

My Kyocera phone has been beeping every 5 minutes for several days. The only way I could make it stop was to turn my phone to silent, but then I missed all my calls and texts. I finally called my carrier and they told me how to fix it. I had to take the battery out while the phone was turned ON. After removing the battery, I had to hold the send button down for 15-20 seconds (while the battery was still out), then replace the battery and turn the phone back on. This apparently resets the phone. I waited 30 minutes before posting this solution, and the phone has not beeped again!!!
