Press START/STOP to select whether an alarm is referenced to the time shown in Time mode (t1) or Time 2 (t2). 4) Press SET, at any step, when done setting. 1. Press Mode- and set it on the alarm.
2. When you are here, press the start/stop button and the little alarm signal will change. If it is dark, the alarm is on. If you keep pressing the stop/start button the darkness will go away, meaning the alarm is now off.

Try to pull the roll handle up a little until it clicks, then, usually anti ~ clockwise will set time only, clock ~ wise will set date. This should solve 'em. :)
