The Vivitar 5024 does not record sound with videos. It has a pretend microphone position! Some leaflets says it does record sound but this is an error. There is no mention of audio in the manual.

This camera does not have a Mic - so it does not have capability to record or playback sound. It will record video but it will be completely mute on playback.
