Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
When signing on system states that the last three game files are corrupted. deleted the corrupted files. the game will still not create a new file. what to do?
Can you still play the game ok? If the game you are trying to play wont start up, then the disk could be damaged. If it is downloaded content, then the file could be corrupt and require a more stable connection to install.You may have to delete everything about the said game including offline files to reinstall. Good luck, and I hope this helps.

ps3 Hard drive needs to be manually reformatted and checked for bad sectors.
as what youve said, you already formatted it and yet it still says there is a corrupt system file.
when i say "manually formatted" you have to clearly take the hard drive out and format it using another pc or ps3.

There is an alternate way to restore your HDD. Turn off your system and when u see the red light, hold the power button in front until you hear a total of 4 beeps (1 alone, 1 alone, 2 together). It usually works on second try. it should show a screen and say hook up controller with a usb cord. Then it should show i think 6 options. Choose the restore option. it should work.
Hope it works and wish you all the best!
P.S.- I just got the 80010514 error on my ps3 and my ps3 games dont work anymore :(

This is happening because your console is not recognizing the HDD (hard drive) for what ever reason. The corrupted files are about to do damage to your console, and a PS3 will not turn on if it thinks further damage will occur. Here are two things you can do;
1. Try accessing the HDD reset menu. Here's how you do this: With a solid red light showing, hold down both the power & eject buttons. You're going to hear a single beep, then a double beep. Once you hear the double beep, release both buttons. You'll get a message on your TV saying "connect your controller using USB". Following all the instructions will lead you to a 6 item menu. You are going to choose number 3. If that option doesn't work, pick number 6. BE WARNED!!! Number 6 will delete ALL of your saved memory! I know that really sucks, but this may be the only way to save your console short of repair. You can "back-up" your saved data using a "USB storage device" Like a memory stick or even your iPod.
If none of this works, or the console just won't let you do the "double button" thing, it'll need to be repaired. You can contact PSR repairs at www.psr1.com. They are really great! They do both warranty & non-warranty repair work for a very decent price. I hope I helped. Good luck, Indra!

Hmm... You've already deleted everything and re-loaded it, correct? Did you also wipe the "saved game" memory? The bad file could be in the PS3's internal memory card. So, you'll have to wipe that. If this is still not working, you may have to reformat you entire console. I know that really sucks, but it MAY have to be done as a last resort. In the settings menu, there's a place that says "format hard drive". If you try to "back up" your memory on to a memory stick, I'd recommend against it. Because you might just be putting the corrupted file back into the hard drive! Let me know what you decide to do, bro. Maybe I can be of more help down the line. Good luck, Dempsey!

You can recover the data unfortunately. You may have turned the power of while you was saving or taken the card out while saving the game e.t.c. make sure the savings for guitar hero work, if they do there is nothing wrong with the memory card, just what i have just said.
But you can go back to where you were with Action Reply MAX. they have cheats saed games from all sorts of places on tuns of games, & since you have the slim you can plug in you ethernet cable and download a saved games file to where you were on the corrupt file.
Hope i have been helpful
