SOURCE: Solis Palazzo - dreaded ventilate problem

Hi
Your machine is still in the descale mode. You haven't finished. If you have run the descaler through, the water is ermpty the pump will still keep going until it stop on its own. If it doesn't stop on its own, the computer thinks its still in the descale mode. remove the water tank and turn the machine back on. The pump will run and then make a lot of noise, then stop. This can take up to 5 minutes. Let it run until it stops. You will get blinking lights on the panel. Put the water tank back on and close the steam knob then open it again. The pump will start the rinse mode. Let it stop on its own. Computer can't see that you ran a whole tank of water, but it can see when the flow meter stops that there is no water left. If you have already rinsed the machine start the pump flowing and just lift the tank off. When the pumps stops the rinse cycle the descale light will be gone but you will have the heater light blinking and the water light steady. Put the tank back on and close the steam valve then open it again. This will clear the water light and the machine will start to heat again.

SOURCE: ventilate message, but no air in system

HI Sorry, but that sounds like a bad flow meter. The flow meter is not that hard to replace, with a little common sense, but the new flow meter should be the brass one. There are some tricks to getting the top back on, Pull forward on the bypass doser chute a little so it will center in the opening. You don't have to disconnect all the wires that go to the top. They are long enough that the top will set behind the machine carefully. Remember the tubes that go to the flow meter. You don't want to get them backwards.

SOURCE: Ventilate shows, nothing works

There is an air lock in the hydraulic line of the machine, thats why it is calling for ventilate, if hot water valve is open and it is still calling for ventilate, then it is possible that the valve is blocked, it might be at top of the wand or at the tap rod assembly.

SOURCE: Saeco Royal Professional is stuck on "Ventilate"

Hi
There are possibly 2 things that it could be.
1. Check that the tip of the wand is not plugged.
2. Your solenoid valve that controls the water is bad or stuck. That means a trip to the service center.

No water comes out on ventilate. At first, the water was coming out very slowly, in drips. The doser or grind were not the problem, because even when I switched to Hot Water, it was still dripping. ...

Hi
It should take about 45 minutes to an hour to properly descale the machine. If it only took a couple of minutes you really didn't descale your machine. If you used the powder it has to disolve completly before descaling. The best way to descale is with the descaler in the tank. Turn on the machine and run about 8 ozs of water-descaler through the wand and then turn off the machine. Wait 10 minutes and repeatthe last procedure. Do this until the tank is empty. When done with the descaler, rinse out the tank and put fresh water in the tank and run the whole tank through the wand. Then fill the tank and your ready to go.

I have decalcified my Gaggia Synccrony twice using a product from the grocery store called dip-it and it is still saying to decalcify the machine

First of all - Dip-it is a detergent to remove rancid oils from coffee cups and coffee makers. That is not the same thing as a decalcifier or descaler. Dip-it was never meant to go through your boiler and pump and valves and all the other parts inside your Gaggia.

I'm quite sure that if you read the Gaggia manual it will tell you to use a special descaler such as Dezcal or Durgol.

Some people say use white vinegar - the manual specifically says not to use vinegar.

The machine is pretty expensive - it's worth buying the right product to descale it.

The manual should walk you through the steps to descale which will clear the error message once all the steps have been completed. I don't own that specific model, but typically you add the dezcal powder to very warm water in the water tank. Then start the descale process which will prompt you to open the steam valve and pump some water through the steam valve (into a container you place under the steam wand to catch it). Typically it will cycle a little water then pause for several minutes while the descaler disolves the calcium build up in the boiler - then it will pump a little more though and then wait etc. etc. Depending on your machine it may pump water out the coffee spout as well as out the steam wand. If so, the machine should prompt you to tell you to open and close the steam valve.
After it has run all the chemical through the machine (usually after it has emptied the tank) it should then prompt you to rinse. You remove the tank and wash it out and fill it with clean drinking water and then let the machine continue on the rinse cycle which will pump all the clean water through the unit. So you need to be on hand to catch all that water and dump it in the sink. When you are all done, run a few blank shots and make sure the water tastes like clean drinking water. The descaler is mostly citrix acid (like lemon juice) so if the water tastes sour like lemons then it isn't completly rinsed yet and you may want to pump more fresh water through the machine (pull blank shots or pump hot water through the steam wand) until it is fully rinsed.
Once the machine completes the rinse cycle it should stop prompting you that you need to descale.

Descaling cycle will not run

You need to push the hot water button on the machine panel to allow water to run out of the steam wand. After a few seconds the machines ventilate message should clear.

Ventilate problem

need to go through menu to factory reset. This gets machine to ready. You now need to decalcify with a citric acid descaler, not vinegar. With the water tank filled with descaling solution go through the menu to rinse option and rinse machine. When finished rinse cycle and with remaining descaling solution push water button open side knob and rinse the steamer system with descaler.

Solis Palazzo Espresso Machine

The machine is still stuck in the descaling cycle. You must open the steam valve and let all the liquid drain from the tank. This takes approx. 45 min. because it comes out intermittenly. After this is complete all the front buttons will flash. Close the steam valve, rinse the tank, then fill it with fresh water. Open the valve again and let all the water drain from the tank again. This time it will only take a couple of minutes. After it has completed close the valve and the machine will return to normal operation.

it will tell you to open the knob.
before you open the knob fill the water tank with the descaling solution
place a large water receptacle under the steam wand.

the machine will start to descale this can take a while
when the descale cycle is finished close the knob.
rinse the water tank out with fresh water and fill it will clean drinking water.
Press the same button on the bottom right to confirm that yo are doing the rinse cycle.
open with knob and the machine will start the rinse cycle.
when the rinse cycle is complete close the knob and load the circuit.
when descaling is over fit a new cartridge filter in your water tank and off you go with your descaled cleaned coffee machine.
