Hello!
Lots of great info here, thanks for all your inputs. I just purchased a new Kenmore Elite HE5T Steam washer/dryer set. I set everything up, however, I'm unable to start any cycles on the washer. The current setting just blinks no matter which one I select, and I'm unable begin any cycle by pressing the start and holding it. Thanks to your "insider" info, I found the diagnostic sheet inside the washer and ran a diagnostic test. The washer went through a complete cycle with NO issues! So, I know it works functionally. I'm just not able to select and start any cycles.
From reading previous posts, I'm wondering if the washer thinks the door isn't closed? I tried pressing it in firmly, "gently" slamming it, and fiddling with the door switch from inside the washer. Also, I'm unable to use the "lock" function by holding down the cycle signal, which leads me to believe it's a door issue.
Could it be anything else causing it? Again, I have NO error codes showing, nor do I when I run a diagnostic test. Does anyone have a quick fix for this? The soonest Sears can come out is a week from now, and I no longer have my older washer! :)
I appreciate your help!

I had the same problem, but due to the great info on the internet, I found the problem and solution. I have been able to temporarily fix it until I can get someone out to repair the plunger. The site below has the details. http://applianceblog.com/forums/view_topic.php?id=730&forum_id=2&jump_to=4559

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
F35 error means that there is some sort of issue
with the steamer electronic board and analog pressure sensor has gone bad.
Check that the hose is firmly attached with the washer and is not blocked. You
can also check the water level pressure switch operation. Please get back to me
if you have any other questions.

I have an elite HE3t washer which does the same thing(nothing). The lights come on but the cycle you want indicator just flashes. I can't seem to find a schematic or anything to tell me how to remove the front panel. Any help would be appreciated. David
I have the same problem on a HE3T.
I thought that this might be the problem too and i have pushed the door, and then i slammed the door out of frustration. It still does not work and keeps on flashing. I sometimes will let it sit still for a few minutes and come back to it and it seems to work. I am starting to think it might be the computer.
