When split unit is switched on manually cold air blows, but the thermostat doesn't kick in so we have to maintain the temperature at 28?C!!
Because you have the temperature set at 28 degrees celcuis . Change the temperature to 18 degrees and it will cool 28 is hotter
It is a reverse cycle air conditioner it will warm the room if you set temperature to 28 degrees . Set it lower and it will blow out cold air.
Have exact same air conditioner as I recognise the remote control.
point it at the air conditioner when altering the temperature setting.
Check under the slide compartment also on the remote for more advanced settings.
SOURCE: fan coil unit won't cool or heat in room1 while room2 runs well
could be undercharged, or overcharged, or wires weren't put back on valves in unit.
SOURCE: can not switch on home air condition with remote and no have manual switch
If you open the front panel of the indoor unit (it opens upwards) near the receiver there is a samll on/off push button (switch). If the indoor does run but still cannot be controlled by the remote, there is a reciever board problem. you need to call their servicemen.
SOURCE: Fan Coil Unit is Cycling on and off. But the room is still hot.
Check electrical connection at the T'stat and the indoor blower . Sounds like a loose connection.

Hi, Air Conditioner Trouble - Review the Possibilities
There are quite a few things that can cause the symptom you are describing there...
The most common would be for you to have a refrigerant leak in the system that is causing the outdoor unit not to run, but the indoor unit still will run...
Often there will be a diagnostic LED on the outdoor unit that will help with troubleshooting...
Of course also a good thing to try is to remove all power to the unit indoor and outdoor...and then reapply the power and see what happens...this may correct the fault...
here is a tip that also will give you some things to check....
Feel free to comment back with any more questions...
