Why does the split unit blow hot air in air conditioner mode, when switched on with the remote control.

When split unit is switched on manually cold air blows, but the thermostat doesn't kick in so we have to maintain the temperature at 28?C!!

Because you have the temperature set at 28 degrees celcuis . Change the temperature to 18 degrees and it will cool 28 is hotter
It is a reverse cycle air conditioner it will warm the room if you set temperature to 28 degrees . Set it lower and it will blow out cold air.
Have exact same air conditioner as I recognise the remote control.
point it at the air conditioner when altering the temperature setting.
Check under the slide compartment also on the remote for more advanced settings.

SOURCE: fan coil unit won't cool or heat in room1 while room2 runs well

could be undercharged, or overcharged, or wires weren't put back on valves in unit.

SOURCE: can not switch on home air condition with remote and no have manual switch

If you open the front panel of the indoor unit (it opens upwards) near the receiver there is a samll on/off push button (switch). If the indoor does run but still cannot be controlled by the remote, there is a reciever board problem. you need to call their servicemen.

SOURCE: Fan Coil Unit is Cycling on and off. But the room is still hot.

Check electrical connection at the T'stat and the indoor blower . Sounds like a loose connection.

SOURCE: Daikin Inverter Split system turns

Hi,
There are quite a few things that can cause the symptom you are describing there...
The most common would be for you to have a refrigerant leak in the system that is causing the outdoor unit not to run, but the indoor unit still will run...

Often there will be a diagnostic LED on the outdoor unit that will help with troubleshooting...

Of course also a good thing to try is to remove all power to the unit indoor and outdoor...and then reapply the power and see what happens...this may correct the fault...

here is a tip that also will give you some things to check....

Kelvinator a/c blowing out room temp air on hot or cold

Could be a few things. Is the outdoor unit running? If not, it could be an electrical problem is sensors, control board, wiring, maybe the settings are nor right on the remote. If the outdoor is running and its still not blowing hot or cold, it may have a gas leak.. I have made these assumptions that it is aKelvinator split system? 1 easy attempt that you can try is a full system reset. Turn off the machine at its isolator (usually next to the outdoor unit) or at the Meyer box. Leave off for at least15 mins. Turn back on and see if it works. Good luck

I have a TCL split unit it works correctly but some times when I switch it off and then switch it on after a while it gives me a very hot air as if it is on heat mode but actually it is on cool mode

those units are compact and it could be just hot air trapped in the unit it self so on a hot day its going have hot air trapped in it and its gotta exhaust it before it can get cold.

My tadiran split system air conditioner is blowing warm air

if its warm air like really hot then you switched the unit to heat mode
if its blowing air in room tempereture then there is a gas leak somewhere ,so you'll have to find the leak source and after that fill the unit with freon gas.

Temp Control Problems

Hi, hild, first thing; stop the AC by remote controler, than select the fan option pressing by mode button and next start the AC, wait 8 minutes, if the unit still blows cold air, the thermistor has to be replaced. I hope this was helpful to you! success!

The unit only blows out hot air. It doesn't switch to ac mode @ all. What is the problem?

Make sure the control or the remote has actually changed the mode setting to cool function. Try new batteries if necessary or see if the main unit has an overide or manual control to select cooling only. It may be that the compressor is not running at all. The hot air you are feeling may be the room temperature air... Can you hear if the compressor is running or is it just the fan ??

If it is still stuck on heat mode, the reversing valve may be jammed.

20 year old central a/c heater not working

Check your thermostat and mode selector setting, thermostat setting should be set at warmer and mode selector setting should be at low heat or hight this is applicable for manual unit.
If it is a remote control just set the remote to heat mode.
