My injector comes off the holder before it is tube is filled periodically

This could be due to a broken wire, a loose terminal, or a burned-out injector coil .

I would recommend taking your device to a professional technician for repair. If you would like to try fixing it yourself, inspect the rubber piece that holds the tube. Chances are that it is worn and needs to be replaced. It won't hold the tube all the way if it is worn. A quick fix is to cut a piece of eraser of a pencil and glue it to the holder

you can stick the tube all the way down if it is long enough or build your own holder. If you replace the ballcock with a modern one they come with all those parts to hold the hose down

It doesn't usually have water coming out. If it fills the tank, it is ok. The water is coming out at the bottom anyway. However, the adjustment on the tube is off and not allowing water in .

You will have to remove the ice maker , to have access to the fill tube . Only 3 screws , hold the ice maker on . After removing , make sure the tube is not frozen inside , and that it is securely , pushed inside the fill tube holder . If frozen inside , then the water valve behind the refrig , where the wall water line connects to , on the refrig , will need replaced also , due to " seeping " , not closing completely , after filling .

if this part is about 2 1/2" long and black rubber and has a white plastic tube inside it, yes it is necessary and do not take it out. the rubber is probably getting thin and causing the leak. they are not expensive parts and should be replaced. can do yourself.

There is a small plastic tube that comes from the fill valve and attaches onto the overflow tube on the flush valve. If no water is coming out of that tube, then it is clogged internally. You can remove the tube from the fill valve and take a small piece of wire or a straight pin to try and clear it from the outside. If that doesn't work, then I would recommend replacing the fill valve. They are inexpensive to replace. If you don't know how to get into the fill valve's internal guts at the top, then I would recommend replacement of the valve. One more thing, there also could be a water saver where the outlet is on the little tube I just explained. It is usually light blue, you can remove that and discard it.

It is on the passenger side right behind the washer fluid fill tube. You can follow the fuel lines (look like 1/4" black tubes, some are clear) from the injector pump to it. It is a caniser a bit bigger than a normal looking oil filter and sits between the washer bottle and the metal that forms the wheel well. It is held in by a screw type clamp about half way down the cylinder. Probably isn't the fuel filter unless there is air in the lines to the injector pump or they didn't bother to fill the fuel filter up with diesel after putting it in. There is not a fuel pump in the tank in these cars so everything is sucked up by the injector pump and it needs to be primed properly.

Check pump. I would say it is the most likely cause for the water leak, especially if itdoes it while filling and on spin as the pump holds some residual water in it . That is normal.
