I didn't notice this when I bought it but almost all the pictures I take come out with a red or green glow line that crosses the picture. It's not a dead pixel, the line is more faded and thicker. I tried taking pictures with all settings and different lighting but it seems to be random. PLease help!
SOURCE: saturation of unrealistic color
It is definite CCD chip problem. If you are within warranty period, send it back quick. They probably replace with other unit because the parts are not available for the product. Good luck.
SOURCE: yellow pictures
If it is in proper colors in daylight, It has to be no FLASH, or a bad CD.
I assume both video and STILL pictures are the same.
Did you ever get good pictures??
colors can be SHIFTED in most DIGITAL photo programs, your pictures may be saved (able).

SOURCE: Nikon D50 Set Problem - Won't Take Pictures
The F-- error means that the lens is not communicating or has lost communication, with the body. I would first try cleaning the contacts on the lens and body. You might also try another lens. This problem has been known to develop when using a heavier, large lens. It seems like you have had the unit for a number of years. Has this always been an issue?
Hope that helps,

SOURCE: blurry pictures....
reset the camera and try taking pictures using by soft pressing the shutter instead of a hard press... on digital cameras, hard fast pressing will cause the picture quality to be not as good
