Do I need to replace control board on my mastertemp pool heater or could there be something else wrong?

You need to replace the "membrane pad". The pad is separate from the control board. Sort of like a keyboard on a computer.

All appearances - No fuel to ignite!
evrything else looks good, proper gas pressure, proper volts at igniter, etc - it should ignite! If fuel present, heater should Fire!
make sure all valves are open.
Gas valve is ON
AND purge any air from gas line.
IMPORTANT ****. If you bled gas line, don't try to ignite for a few minutes. Allow gas to dissipate first, use a fan to help.

some of these plugs leak from bran new about he oly thing is make sure it is clean and use red silicone on it

this heater will display 2 red light related problem 1-service the system mean you need to clean you filter, and service the heater mean it may be a problem with the heater this 2 you will be able to see it in key pad control the heater ,now reset the board and see what happens (CUT THE POWER ON/OFF UNCE )

check the fuse inside the control box

check for 24 vac at the transformer if 24 check for fuses
