Vizio L32 32 in. LCD HDTV Logo

Orange light is all I get.

Please someone help me on this. I have replaced the power board on the VX20L 20" Vizio TV and I still just get the orange light. Could the main input board going out cause the TV not to turn on at all (other then that annoying orange light)? I have tried turning it on with the side buttons and the remote. I have 2 of these TV's and they do the same thing. Any help would be appreciated. I know it is not the Power Board/Inverter Board. So I think it has to be the Main Input Board or the Control Board (that's all that is left unless the screen itself has went out but I do not think that is the case).

Thanks,
Ced

Thanks for the update. Do you know of any cheap place that I can get the mainboard?

    Thanks

99 percent its the mainboard not the powerboard, especially if you have amber led. The mainboard swap is pretty simple if you can get the parts.

Orange light on vizio no bad caps

You may be buying a main board, only a few guys in the industry even bother servicing main boards. Outside of a bad cap, fuse, or regulator its time to replace the board. If you have standby power, and you're not getting the "PS ON" signal from the main board, your main board is bad!

Vizio vp422 orange light stays on wont power up

I would double check the capacitors on the power supply board. Make sure you don't have any that are bulged at the tops. Secondly, when you try and turn it on, does the orange light flash at all??

Vizio screen went off but power light is still on

may be a mainboard problem. If you can see the orange light it usualy means that there is power running through the TV... usually inverter boards are a problem when you do not see any backlight at all.
