U can't do any grid lines adjustments for this problems, the tv problems it is having are known as a convergence pictures problems,it is dead. The tv have any colors lines like R,G,B mis alignments,tv have any colors shadows pictures or have a 3D pictures look alike?Yes,than the tv convergence board it is dead for the tv to causes all of these convergence pictures problems. The tv convergence board must have to be repair like replacing 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of it resistors too.To fixed the tv convergence board to solved the tv convergence pictures problems. The tvs shops will cost like $300-350 for parts and labors.

The tv 100% have convergence problems,it dead,if have any colors lines mis alignment or don't stay in the convergence - + grid. The tv convergence board is dead. The 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all is resitors are dead.Must replaced these parts on the tv convergence board to solved the tv picture convergence problems. The shop, will cost u like $300-350 for parts and labors.
This sounds like convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually $200-$400 Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks! See link for more detail http://www.ehow.com/how_4575598_yourself-projection-tv-repair-convergence.html
The grid (called an overlay) is put in place to fine-tune one of the colors, usually green. Once one color is adjusted perfectly, the other 2 colors are adjusted to match the first color. For example, if the convergence data is completely erased, the tech will set up the overlay and align the green using to the overlay, and then align the red to the green and then the blue to the green. If the alignment is being done after replacing the convergence IC's because one or 2 colors are slightly off in the corners, the green is usually very close to perfect and the use of the overlay is not absolutely necessary. It is pretty easy to align one color using the outer edges of the screen itself. If you do need the overlay it can be purchased from any Hitachi parts distributor such as Herman Panson, Fox or Union Electronics.
They are definitely a part of the convergence circuits. A variable resistor increases resistance as they warm up. So excessive heat destroys their capacity to perform as was designed and you will continue to have issues until all components are within 5% tolerance levels. Hope this helps. let me know if you need anything more for information.
Each color (red, green & blue) has an amplifier IC (STK-).
When there is a convergence issue, the first step is change both
IC's for reliability. Then check for open fuses devices, usually
pico fuses.Then re-check convergence alignment.......T.
