File a permanent change of address form with the post office, it is a simple form to fill out. To change the phone number call the company you have phone service with, the new phone # takes about one week to kick in.
In Gmail go to Settings and then select accounts and scroll down toChange Account Settings. Go to Change password recovery options in the 'Change account settings' section
Changing numbers have no impact on your google account.
I recommend that you use a laptop or PC to ask for a new password. Just open a browser and type: google.com Then input your email address and click on forgot password. Google will ask you some security question. Once you have that sorted out, save the new password in a safe place, and use this very same information in your new phone. Best of luck.
Changing you hard drive should not cause any problems for your gmail account, unless you were login into it with a saved password, and you don't remember it. If you do remember it, just go to Google, click the sign in button on the top right, enter the info and you should be able to get your email.l

You should use a mobile phone number so that you always have access to it. It's important that you can receive security alerts as soon as possible so that you can help keep your account safe.
You should try to open the gmail account that you prefer. I take it you password isn't working.

3. The next page will help you get a temporary password, and then you can change your password to a new, permanent one.
