How do i install avanquest rescue diskdont know what to do

Sounds as though you are missing an "exe." command or file; which is something too complicated to answer here. Since you are trying to install a utilities program, you should know what an uninstall manager program is. Find one of these free uninstallers and download it and it will remove the Avanquest from your computer. At this point, that would be the easiest solution. You can then download Glary Utilities Pro as the recommended replacement to the Avanquest; GUP will then take care of everything for you with a minimum of effort. Trust me.

This is an accounting application so it should have as the calendars an dates of service should be there as default.

ok main question i would have for you , can you get to the control panel to un-install program, if you can remove it, power down then power up again.Put cd in your cd drive let it install and let it pick what directory it want to install most of the time it will leave a icon in your tray and list on your startup menu.

turn off your anti-vircus before you start to install it may be recognizing a file as a virus and it did not install

No you don't have to pay. A three user licence means that you can install Avanquest on up to 3 computers using the same product key that comes with the disk.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. From the error you stated, it seems your SR got corrupted (common with norton/symantec products). The best bet is to try System Restore from Safe Mode.

As for your second problem, here is an alternate way to access Safe Mode (I am assuming you can get into Normal Mode):

1. Go to START, then RUN
2. type "msconfig" and hit enter
3. the system configuration window will appear
4. among the several tabs across the top, one of them will say "boot.ini", click this tab
5. there will be a box that you can check next to Safe Mode.
6. Click Apply, then OK
7. Restart
8. Keep in mind that your computer will automaticall go in to safe mode until you uncheck this box.
