Remove the pusher (what you use to push the produce into the shoot). Then push down on the top so you can slide the metal bar off. Then remove the top. Next you pop out the ring and the blade (juicing net) together. You have to kind of pop it up in the back - on the opposite side of the spout. The spout is part of the ring, so once you've popped the ring out in the back, lift it up and forward (toward the spout) so you can lift the whole thing out from the base. It's tricky and it feels like it may break, but I got it buy using quick bursts of upward thrusts to dislodge the back side of the ring. Don't know if it matters, but when I finally release it, the spout was in the upward position.Remove the pusher (what you use to push the produce into the shoot). Question moved from Washing Machines to a better category.
This appears to be an Australian machine and is unknown in North America. The is nothing on it apart from people selling them and no manual available.
Normally, you remove the top. Then you remove the macerator, the part with the teeth. Then finally the basket. You wipe out the machine with a wet cloth and put it back together again after washing rinsing and drying the removable parts. The machine itself is not washable.
If you mean green leafy greens, the juicer is not really designed for them. A sharp blade will extract some juice from them, but I found a new blade seems to increase the vibration issue. Acme works best on carrots, apples, celery, etc.
This is what manual doesn't tell you: clean the 3 spring loaded pins on the side of the motor clutch. Sugar and pulp may get inside and seize them when dries up, thus making very hard to separate the basket/cutter from the clutch.
There are two almost identical cone-shaped parts, one with metal screening and one solid dark plastic (I'm going by the parts color appearance of my 8003 model). Be sure you're using the one with the screen, otherwise the juice has nowhere to go but out with the pulp.
Hi, I have an Omega juicer, and I've never had this happen. I recommend that you double check to see if you have the right parts attached. It comes with two inserts, one with a small metal screen on the bottom, the other has no screen, it is solid. The solid one is for crushing and proccessing food. The one with the screen is used for juicing. Make sure you have the correct one installed.
If that is not the problem, I think perhaps the grass is too dry? Maybe there isn't enough moisture in it to extract much. I really can't say, though. Try juicing something else, like carrots, and see if you can get some juice there.
If all else fails, contact Omega at their website. They have terrific customer service. I've tested it already with a warranty replacement.
