My 14-month old frigidaire dishwasher seems to have a serious problem already- the status display shows i30 code, makes a hissing noise and none of the controls work. Tried to reset turning power off at the cirruit breaker a, but that does not reset anything. I still see i30 code, have the same hissing sound and nine of the controls work.

Next thing to look at--considering all the power is good--although that's what I'd check on again, would be the door switch. May have to remove the control panel cover or the door interior.

look for a shorted bake element .. you should be able to see where it poped. ( some times ) if you have ohm meter you can ck for an open element . **** //

The same thing happened to me about a week ago. I was preheating our electric oven, heard a very loud bang/pop. Checked and the oven had PF (power failure) I went downstairs and the breaker was tripped. Came back upstairs and to look at stove, the burners are working fine so I continued to preheat oven after a half an hour the oven was only slightly warm. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

Next time DON'T buy a Frigidaire product. It is absolute GARBAGE!!! How does a durable good (an item that is supposed to last for at least 5 years) break down w/in the first 1 or 2 years??? Only poor quality items do that.

On your Frigidaire dishwasher "i30" stands for aqua control. You should perform a reset on your dishwasher and that could clear any false error codes. To reset your dishwasher you can flip the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If that does not work you could be experiencing an issue with your water inlet valve or control panel. In a nut shell. I30 is the machine leak into base probably from over fill From the door you can see it if you pull out the machine and run a rinse cycle.Look on th corners at the front There is a float in the bottom that shuts the machine down to stop a flood and runs the drain pump This is Caused by the pressure sensor in the left hand side of the sump getting grease in it. The machine will fill until the control board stops it. Turn off the machine at the breaker pull out th pressure sensor and clean it out with a Q tip and fresh water. Put it back in and test it. It usually does the trick. Hope this helps
