How do I Verify my pay pal account

Paypal will deposit two very small amounts (for example, 23 cents and 47 cents) to your "default" checking account to verify that it is legitimate. You have to report the exact mount of each of those deposits to Paypal to prove that you are the account holder. Paypal will then "verify" your account with them. Some financial organizations "lump" very small deposits together in their reporting - if your bank or Credit Union does this, you must ask them to tell you the exact amount of all deposits.

Dont have credit card can still use paypal

You can use PayPal as a way to receive money without a credit card or debit card. Although if you have a bank account you want the money transferred to, you will need to have some way to transfer the funds through paypal using your account.
If you want to send money, you need your bank account/debit card/credit card linked to paypal.

I tried to create an account on paypal on around 15 march 2011...but today (20 march 2011) i am trying again to confirm it,,i dont come to know where am i wrong....... it is not working,,i have to buy...

If you have already created the Paypal account then the next thing you have to do is VERIFY it.

Just to be clear, VERIFYING your account is NOT the same as CONFIRMING it.

When you signed up for Paypal they should have sent an email message to your corresponding email account that you listed in the application.

When you open that email, there will be a link and a code to VERIFY your Paypal account. Just follow the instructions in the email message.

Once you VERIFY your account then you can log into the main Paypal website with your email address and password and check out your newly created account.

If you really want to link an actual bank account from your real everyday bank to your Paypal account, then this is where you have to go through the lengthy process of submitting your bank account numbers and bank transit numbers in order to CONFIRM the account.

You actually don't need to CONFIRM the account in order to use it if you don't want to. Many people simply skip the confirmation option and just link their Paypal account to a disposable VISA or MASTERCARD GIFT CARD that you can purchase at pretty much any convenience store.

Just login to your Paypal account (once it is VERIFIED) and go to:

MY ACCOUNT
PROFILE
ADD A CREDIT CARD

Then just fill in the information from the Mastercard Gift card and check that it is listed as your PRIMARY FUNDING SOURCE. Then you will be free to purchase things with your Paypal account as long as there is a sufficient balance left on the Gift Card.

Good luck.

I am from the Philippines. How can I verify my paypal account with my bank account? Also, how may I purchase something online if it should be verified? Would paypal automatically get money from my bank...

HI

Please follow the below step for your problem.

You should check first if you can add a local bank account to your PayPal account, because it's not possible in some countries. Here's how:

  1. Go to the PayPal website and click More or Worldwide at the bottom of the page.
  2. Select your country from the list.
  3. View your country's options for withdrawing funds. If you see "To your local bank account" listed as a withdrawal option, you can add a local bank account.

If you are able to add your local bank account, here's how to add it:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Profile.
  3. Click Bank Accounts under Financial Information.
  4. Click Add
  5. Enter the required information, then click Add Bank Account.
thanking you

I want to change my subscription level from basic to premium. Ebay told me it was with paypal I had to deal to get verified. I did, they told me I was. Now I try to change the level and ebay still tells me...

When you login to your PayPal account (https://www.paypal.com) are you listed as "verified"?

If not, to "verify", use the PayPal web-site to send you a "random" amount of money to your bank-account -- just a few cents. Then, login to your bank's web-site, and look to see the exact amount that was credited to you. Then, go back to PayPal, and tell them exactly what the amount was.
This "verifies" that your PayPal ID is "linked" to your bank-account.

Also, check that your eBay ID is "linked" to your now-verified PayPal ID.

You must verify your PayPal account first before you can pay online. Check your email for PayPal verification and follow the instructions until you have it done. Hope this helps.

Paypal-4029357733 $167.00 etc with 7 different orders. was these purchases paid in full? [email protected] claims they were NOT paid. I received statement on my credit account they were paid.

I have not been able to use pay pal since 1/2013 and no there is no outstanding $ due to the following email. I had 2 bank accounts wiped out via pay pal and will not "advertise" one there again. SO have also QUIT eBay since that is the only way to purchase there. as you can see via the email it is not due to outstanding $ but due to limit, would not even let me use ebucks to complete this last transaction which was then handled via eBay but was no $167.00.???

Unfortunately, you\'ve hit your initial PayPal sending limit of $10,000.00 USD. That\'s why your recent payment was declined.

Your sending limit is the maximum amount of money you can send or use for purchases before you need to become Verified.
Why do I need to verify my account?

We place initial limits on all accounts to increase security and help
prevent fraud. Once you link and confirm a bank account or get approved
for PayPal credit, your account will be Verified and you\'ll be able to
make as many payments as you like with PayPal.
How do I get Verified and lift my sending limit?

  1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com and click Get Verified at the top of the page.

  2. Follow
the instructions to link your bank account to your PayPal account.
We\'ll deposit 2 small amounts in your bank account to confirm that it\'s
    yours.

  3. Check your bank statement in 2-3 days and note the 2 amounts. Then log back in to your PayPal account and enter these amounts.
