Buy another SD card and insure the memory size of the new card is compatible with the camera... some cameras are very limited in the size of cards they can read.

The SD card 512mb has been working fine about 3 years, then the camera started taking only blank photos. What can I do?

SD cards can fail. # years on a SD card may be all you'll get. Try another card to see if you can record pictures on it. If so, then the card has gone bad. If not , then the camera needs a repair shop.

Good day! I have a Samsung galaxy 5 phone here and the problem that i encountered is that when I will insert an SD card to the sd card slot. it will say " Blank SD card" although that card is not...

Copy all your valid information from the SD card to your C: drive, and burn the files to CD-recordable.

Then, insert the SD card into the phone, and allow it to "format" or "initialize" the SD card for use with your Samsung device.

I have a Pentax Kx and recently bought an 8Gb memory card. However I get a lot of blank images with the error message 'image cannot be displayed' especially if I use the continuous shooting mode....

Dear,

First of all you need to confirm that what kind of memory card your are using. The officially recommended type and brands are here

Toshiba *SD Memory Card - Capacities: 512MB to 2GB *SDHC Memory Card - Capacities: 4GB to 32GB

Panasonic *SD Memory Card - Capacities: 512MB to 2GB *SDHC Memory Card - Capacities: 4GB to 32GB

SanDisk *SD Memory Card - Capacities: 512MB to 2GB *SDHC Memory Card - Capacities: 4GB to 32GB

rather than these might be problematic or not compatible...

My camera the mercury cyberpix 2-210s only take 20 or so pictures and has a memory card of 8 mb and I don;t understand why.

Your Mercury Cyberpix S-210S has an internal memory of 16MB and can be expanded using an SD/MMC Card up to 512MB.Since the picture you capture using this 2 Megapixel camera has an approximate resolution of 1600*1200 and a size of approximately 400kB you can store only around 18 to 20 photos in an 8MB Memory Card.So if you want to store more pictures you have to insert a Memory Card of bigger capacity.Remember the maximum Memory Card capacity supported on your camera is 512MB.Thanks for choosing Fixya.

Picture of sd card on screen. does nothing else!! tried reset no help!! inserted sd card still shows sd card wth arrow pointing in slot!!

You should try putting the SD card into a PC Card Reader and see if there is any data on the card. That normally happens when there is a bad connection or the card is blank.

I have a standard 2.0 GB SD card, not an HC. The camera has never used it even when inserted properly. Insert the memory card and nothing happens- nothing is displayed on the screen indicating it is in...

Hi - First off, did you try formatting the card through the camera's menu system? Did you have a smaller SD card that you used before that worked? According to the manual, which may be out of date, the camera uses up to 512 MB SD cards.

It could be that the manual was released before the larger SD cards were available or it could be a real limitation of the camera. It's hard to know, as there is little real useful information about this camera or company.

You could email their support at [email protected] and inquire about the camera's SD card limitations or call them at Technical Support: (847) 966-9590.

Good Luck,

Just bought power saves 512MB SD card and I can't seem to get it to do anything but show me 175 photos of other people. Is that normal?

That's odd.
Is it pre-owned? if so, they could have deleted the cheats and used it to hold pictures in their camera. I would suggest
getting a new one or go to www.coadjunkies.com and download cheats there with the sd card inserted into the computer.

"This card can not be used"

I experienced the same problem with a 1Gb card. The Vivicam 4000 only supports SD cards no larger than 512Mb. My solution to the problem was to simply repartition the SD card into two equal 512Mb partitions using Cute Partition Manager...http://www.cutepm.com. You should be able to do much the same thing except you will have to create 4-partitions, each no larger than 512Mb. When doing so, use the FAT 16 format option. As a word of caution, after repartitioning, do not use the fomat option on your camera, or it will restore it to a single partition 2Gb format. Also, when using whichever partitioning software you choose, be sure that you have selected your SD card, and not your C-Drive. Hope this is as successful for you as it was for me.

Your camera uses a SD flash memory card. You have a xD flash memory card. Basically, you have the wrong size card. Hope this helps!
