Nordictrack Audiorider R400 Exercise Bike. Where do I plug in the power adapter please?

Question edited for a lot more clarity.
Question moved from 'Power Computers' to a better category.

The manual is dreadfully vague

Note: The Console (4) can be operated with an optional power supply instead of batteries. To purchase a power supply, call the toll-free telephone number on the front cover of this manual. Plug one end of the power supply into the jack at the front of the exercise cycle. Plug the other end of the power supply into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

Look on both sides of the console and also at the front of the bike itself. I have to say though, if the console didn't work with batteries, it is unlikely to work with a power supply. It is broken and that is why it didn't work with batteries.

What you could do is follow the wiring harness as shown in the parts manual from the console down and where it branches off to..

Aha, I found this

Exercise Equipment Technician: treadmilltech
It should plug in at the bottom of the front where the 2 side shields come together or it will go into the console itself in the back.

Ferrari World Time watch setting, manual is awful and useless

You have to hold down B to set up T1 which is the time the hands will display. Once you see the City and T1 show up on the digital display you can go through the various settings to set time/date etc. Use B to cycle through setup and A to make the necessary changes.

Pushing the crown allows you to set up T2 or the time displayed on the digital section. You set this by choosing the time zone.

Hope this helps

Bought an Armitron automatic watch from Walmart a few months ago. The band is too short. Can I ourchase additional links anywhere?

Contact Armitron Customer Service (866) 631-0342
    Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
    Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST
Give them the model number and they should be able to supply them for you.
I am not sure if they charge for extra links. Some manufacturers do and some supply extra links at no charge.

I have a Junghans Mega Atomic mantel clock (grey dial with green hands) that is about 15 years old. It worked without a glitch but recently the hand of the seconds detached itself and fell. I am looking...

First, reset the clock to 0:00 hours. The instant the clicking stops, pop out the battery. The second hand stem should be at 0:00 hours. The front cover can only be removed from the bottom. Put both thumbs at the bottom of the font cover and push inward, but not too forcefully (Junghans stopped selling replacement covers shortly after dropping the product line and they are nearly impossible to find). The center should lift up enough to slide a thin credit/promotion/gift card under the center tab on the bottom. Then work the card up either slide to disengage the other four tabs. The five tabs are located at the bottom center, one each on both straight sides alligned with the top of the digital display, one at 7.5 minutes, and the last one at 52.5 minutes. That is easy part. Now comes the hard one You then need to glue the second hand back onto its stem. Superglue (cyanoacrylate based) works best. The second hand must be attached perfectly level or it could scrape the cover, the clock face, and the other hands as it rotates on a tilt. Practice a few times before applying the glue. You will notice that the socket on the second hand fits the stem very loosely. Once you are ready to glue, apply one drop of superglue on the second hand socket and mount it on the centermost stem and hold it perfectly still and in proper alignment and steady for a minute or so for the glue to set. Once the glue dries, put the battery in and let it run long enough to determine if the second hand is in correct alignment. Remove the battery again. Make certain the clock face is completely free of dust and dirt before reattachment of the cover. Insert the cover from the top down snapping the five tabs into place. It may be necessary to reverse the removal process. Then you can reinsert the battery. The process worked for me when mine was accidentally knocked onto the carpet and the second hand was detached from the force of the impact. In fact, I can no longer tell which one I performed the repair on.

The anlog display does not synchronise with the digital display. There is a time difference of 2.5 hours. I got the batterie replaced which didn't change anything.Thank you in advance for your help

Activate the crystal, then find the clock calendar function. Hold the center button for 5 seconds until a synchro appears on the data screen, then start pushing top button to move the minute hand to the 12:00 then push bottom button to move minute hand to 12:00. after this is done hold center button for 5 seconds and hans will move to match time on your digital display. Now that you are synched, you can set time as you normally would.
