I CALLED TAPPAN DIRECTLY. THEY HAD ME TRIP THE BREAKERS WHICH DID NOT HELP. THEN I HAD THE GAS CO COME OUT TO MAKE SURE THERE WASN'T A GAS LEAK. THE CLOCK STOPPED BEEPING ON IT'S OWN AFTER THE SERVICE MAN MOVED THE STOVE OUT TO INSPECT IT. THE NEXT STEP WOULD HAVE BEEN TO HAVE A TAPPAN SERVICE COME OUT, BUT I GUESS I'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT THE REASON WAS. HOPE IT DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN,.
F3 code error indicates a bad oven temperature sensor (RTD). To fix this error, Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.
The owner's manaual states that F1 means Control Malfunction.
The manual recommends the following:
Press Oven cancel pad or disconnecting power supply may eliminate F code. If failure continues contact an authorised dealer.
