What is the actual temp of the oven? Not what the display says? If the conveyor running normal? If so you just need a display board. Depending on what temp is there are many possibilties after that.

Black & Decker toaster oven won't work

We've had many of these over the years...they seem to run along just fine, and then, one day, they quit. There is no fuse, but if it's the only thing plugged into that wall outlet, the one thing you might check is the circuit breaker on that line. To be sure, plug a lamp into the socket just to make sure you're getting electricity out of the wall.

Sorry to say, it may be time to purchase a new unit.

Clock runs fast -- gains continually

Digital Clock - Much like a digital watch or a computer, the 12/24 hour Real Time Clock (RTC) digital display clock's ability to maintain time with integrity is most likely on the interior. Flip the unit to view the rear and you'll find a backplate with phillips screws and 4 star bit screws of different size each hidden by black rubber gromits).

A Common Battery that can be found at your local retail store:

RTC 2032 3 Volt Battery

I can only assume removing the screws would reveal the proper answer, but I wager a standard RTC battery is what you'll find.

If your unit is already old enough, I think it will need to replace many parts. So it is worth buying a new one than to repair it because many parts will be replaced soon. I hope I give you some idea.

Does not heat up.

Mine worked for awhile, then started overheating. I (former appliance repairman) found that the fan needed oiled. While I was checking it with the outside covers removed, I saw that two of the connections on the top heating element were arcing and burning! This accounted for a strange smell.
