After water damage worked for a month now says emergency download

LG vu water damage a month ago. First read emergency download then started working again. Battery ran completely down last night. Now says emergency download again.

fill a freezer size Ziplock bag with rice and leave the battery cover off and no battery installed but in the bag with the phone and leave it for 2 days. it may work! let me know..
