Too much of anything can't be good, and this theory applies for sleep as well. While doctors recommend around seven to nine hours for adults, sleep needs differ from person to person.

Here, the question is whether you are getting quality sleep. More than quantity, quality is important when it comes to sleep.

For getting a good night's sleep you need a good mattress. I used to face similar problem. Even after sleeping for more than 8 hours I used to feel tired in the morning and would long to hit the bed as soon as I am awake. Finally, I realised that my sleep is getting disturbed because of the old mattress that I was using. As a result I was not getting quality sleep. I bought a good one and now all I need is 7 to 8 hours of sleep and I am energetic throughout the day.

Sleeping for more than 9 hours can affect your health adversely. Too much sleep or too little sleep are both bad for your well-being.

Over sleeping can have various side-effects. Over sleeping as well as sleeping too little can lead to diabetes. A study conducted on women shows that all those who slept for more than 9 hours were more likely to have coronary heart disease.

Sleeping too little or too much can also make you obese.
Sleeping longer than usual can cause head pain for some people prone to headaches.

Earlier, doctors used to advise those with back pain to take complete rest. However, now doctors recommend to do exercise as lack of exercise can also lead to back pain instead of asking patients to sleep more than usual.

Sleeping too much is also a sign of depression. Depression will also become worse if you sleep too much.

So find out what is making you oversleep and cure the root cause before it affects your health adversely. For more details refer

Remember also that the mode to track sleep is now called the tracking mode. This mode can be used to track walks as well as sleep. Y'all until the lights flash then take your walk, tap again to turn off. The details will be in your exercise log.

Step 1: Wear your Fitbit Flex once you are ready to go to bed. Once you're ready to sleep, tap your Fitbit Flex rapidly for one or two seconds. The Flex should vibrate and show two dimming lights to indicate that you are in sleep mode.

Step 2: Remember that while the Flex is in sleep mode, it will not display your goal progress if you double tap it. Instead, the lights will alternate to indicate that it is in sleep mode.

Step 3: When you wake up, tap the Fitbit Flex again for one to two seconds to exit sleep mode. When you access your dashboard, you should be able to see your sleep pattern.
When you are viewing your dashboard, you can adjust your sleep mode setting between "normal" and "sensitive" modes. The normal mode shows you your basic sleep pattern, while the sensitive mode shows more details. Make sure you sync your tracker after you make these changes so that the Fitbit Flex can start recording in its new mode that same night.

Follow step 3 to disable sleep mode.

Cant get power saving mode off

Step 1:
Sleep Mode b> Sleep mode is primarily used with home computers (desktop computers). Sleep mode is designed to save the current work, programs, and settings of your computer using your computers memory, while using very little power. b> Hibernate Mode b> Hibernate mode is primarily used with laptop's. Hibernate mode is designed to save your computers current state on to the hard disk, then turn off your computer to stop using power completely. This mode is usually used when you do not plan on using your laptop for an extended amount of time. Benefits b> Using Hibernate mode is more power-efficient, but files may become fragmented over time by using this mode frequently. Sleep mode does consume more power, but the advantage that Sleep mode has over Hibernate is that it does not take as long to resume your computers former state when you are ready to continue using it.

Im using my tv as a monitor, when i turn on my music and then leave the computer to do chores, the computer goes to no signal and i cant listen to my music, how do i keep it from doing this?

Sounds like either your computer is in hibernation mode or your TV is set to sleep, what type of connection to your computer are you using? I do believe in this model Vizio there is a sleep option on each of the Video sources. But I would guess its your computer going into either sleep mode or in your running windows 7 Hybrid sleep mode.

Dell XPS420 Freezes after being in sleep mode

Is there a reason why you cant turn off sleep mode and just let the screen saver kick in? You can do this by right clicking on your desktop and goto properties. Then ScreenSaver, then click on power.
Change these values to never and then go back and set your screen saver...

Hope this Helps...

Sleep mode

usually, to get a PC out of sleep mode, you either press the ESC key, press the power button a bit quickly, or press the sleep key agian. It really depends on the system. Try any of those to see if it helps.

Sleep mode

There is an On Display Menu (ODM). You can access it by pushing the button located on the monitor. Use +- buttons to navigate in the menu. Here you can switch off the sleep mode or change the sleep settings. I have a simular problem... I try to turn off the power save function but it seems like it dosen´t want to understand this...
