Polycom HDX 7000 Receives calls from itself and Firewall IP Address while on call with another device

If connected to a Cisco Switch, make sure the EX is not set to Auto for Speed or Duplex.

SOURCE: Not able to getting video from Remote far end.

Is the Indian site within the firewall? If so, I would focus on the firewall. Does the US site have a firewall? They may be blocking outbound traffic. If you are connecting but no video, it sounds like UDP traffic is still being blocked somewhere. If you can, you may want to assign public IPs on the units and test outside of the firewall.

no the power supply is propreitory( has multiple voltages) & is not advisable, u could blow up ur expensive confeencing equipemt.polycom has designed it in that manner!!

U must ensure 3 things:-

1. The polycom micropod is connected to the correct port.
2. The red button on the polycom microphone is switched off as the red button indicates that the mic is muted.
3. All the required ports in the firewall are opened for the proper videoconferencing to occur.

If all of the above conditions are met, yet the problem persists.... then probably the microphone has gone faulty

Check out the following things:-

1. When dialing a ISDN number, be sure that the call preference has not been set to IP H.323 on the home screen just below the dialing field.

2. Check with your service provider that outwards dialling have been enabled on the lines provided to you.
