Main Board on TV need to be replaced and possibly the Power supply. An experienced technician should first verify the power supply Board. Call in for service.

Theose blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Pull your lamp out and re insert it. Make sure it is straight and you don't have to force it in. Then make sure all the doors are closed properly and tight. There are safty switches in there that if not pushed in, will trigger a 3 blink error. If after all this and you have the same problem, then you either have a bad T1 or T2 board. These are the small boards in the lamp door area that have the safety switches.
Try to download the service manual to your Magnavox model, from internet. The TV shows fault code Here the fault code is "14" First one blink is one=1 Second four blinks = 4 The service manual will have all the details about it.
In standby mode (red led on/after the led stops from blinking), press "Display", "5", Volume (-)", "Power on" on the remote control in sequence, self diagnostic screen will be display, let me know the what is on the screen to diagnose where the fault came from.

Its not the green light that you should be count but the red. How many times is it blinking? Here is a quick update of the errors that are most common.
1x- lamp cover (close lamp cover)
2x- temperature problem (too hot. clean out and cool down)
3x- power problem (check power)
4x- fan problem (one or more fans not running)
6x- lamp fails to light (lamp or ballast problem)
had same problem, first you need to find the location of ignitor double black wires from plug on board and flame sensor.single red wire. 4 red flashes means ground fault, I removed ignitor, cleaned with some scothchbrite, cleaned around screw holes(2) to reestablish ground, I even ran a wire from one of the mounting screws to a ground elsewhere. then I went on to the flame sensor witch will give you flashing yellow light. single red wire to sensor that has one screw holding in. Remove sensor carefully and do the same as the ignitor, clean with scothbrite. I did this a year ago and is still going!
The SONY Owner's Manual for the KDS55A2000 does not state what the 4 times blinking Power LED means.
However, my Sony Extended Care Service support insists that the projection lamp is the cause for the 4X blinking LED Power light.
I do not agree but am forced to buy a replacement lamp (not cheap) to prove that the problem is probably the fan, as the TV Technician states elsewhere in these FixYa support questions and answer
