Pull the drawer out as far as it goes then lift it up and pull it out completely. It may be stacked due to detergent remainings.
So, you should clean the drawer with a soft brush under warm running water. Do not put the drawer into a dishwasher!
Replace the drawer by tilting it into position.

Some ASKO wshers have a child proof block on the detergent drawer. Feel with your finger underneath on the right side, there is a
little lever, that you can push to the left, then it opens full. You can play with it, there is a way that it won't lock.
