Be very careful. The machine is trying to wipe all of the programming due to a flat battery (you can't store cash registers for more than a month or so). Follow this very carefully:
Turn key to PGM (program) mode
Turn power off at the wall socket
Hold down RECEIPT FEED button (keep your finger on it)
Turn power back on and wait 5 seconds before taking your finger off of the receipt feed button (the paper may feed out. This is normal).
The LLLLLLLLLL part of the display should change to FFFFFFFFFF.
Press SUBTOTAL once and wait for the printer to issue a receipt.
Turn key back to REG mode and try it. You may need to sign on using a clerk button or a clerk code if you use one.
If the memory is scrambled and your programming has vanished, you will need to clear the machine and start again. There is a full programming manual online. the only one I know of is here:

Press the clerk buttons (4 white buttons near the key) until the error goes away, then press Subtotal and then Cash

Ok. That means it is too late. You have lost everything. It might have a faulty battery so it would pay to get a dealer to check the battery and replace it if it is over five years old. If the battery is ok, it will need full re-programming after MAC clear using the codes in the manual
