- Follow
the next instructions to change the reception mode :
1. Press the [F2] key. “ this key is
located on the left side of the Control Panel next to the key [12] from the
left side and next to the [Memory Trans.] key from the rigt side ”
2. Press the left arrow key to
select the reception mode “ this key is located under the Display of the Control Panel”
3. Press the [OK] key when on the display is displayed the mode
you want.
note:as you sad you want the machine to reaceive
faxes when you are out of the office, so the reception mode [Auto Select] is
the most compaible mode for you.
The machine can treat incoming fax
messages and telephone calls in
three
ways.
1.Manual
Receive
- Use this mode if your line is
shared
by a
fax machine and a telephone
but you wish to answer all calls
yourself and decide whether they
are fax documents or telephone
calls. You must manually press the
[Start] key to receive a
fax.
The machine will ring continuously
until you answer the call, so you
have to be near the machine at all
times. The Manual Receive indicator
is lit when the machine is in this
mode.
2.
Auto Receive
- Use this mode if you have a dedicated
fax line. The machine assumes
all calls are fax documents.
It will ring once to alert you of an
incoming call, and then starts receiving.
3.
Auto Select
- In this mode, the machine rings a
number of times. You can answer
the call while the machine is ringing.
If you do not answer the call,
the machine automatically changes
to receive fax messages.

- In Auto Select mode, the machine
rings a number of times to give you
the chance to pick up the handset before
taking the call automatically.
- You can change the number of rings
as follow:
1. Press
the [User Tools] key.
2. Press the left arrow key
until
[4.Fax Features] is displayed.
3. Press the [OK] key.
4. Press the left arrow key
until
[3. Setup] is displayed.
5. Press the [OK] key.
6. Press the left arrow key
until
[5.No. of Rings] is displayed.
7. Press the [OK] key.
7. Enter the number you wish using the number keys.
8. If you make a mistake, press the
red [Clear/Stop] key and try
again.
9.Press the [OK] key.
10. Press the [User Tools]
key to return to normal

How to
adjust the volume on the machine?
- Follow the next instructions!
1.
Press the [User Tools] key ” The [User Tools] key is located nex to
the yelllow [Clear Modes] key located
in the right upper corner of the Control Panel ”
2. Press the left arrow key until
[4. Fax Features] is displayed.
3.
Press the [OK] key.
Confirm that [1. Program / Delete] is displayed.
4.
Press left arrow key until [3. Setup] is displayed.
5.
Press the [OK] key.
Confirm that [1. Monitor Volume]
is displayed.
6.
Press the [OK] key.
7.
Press the left arrow key to select the item you want to adjust,
and then press the [OK] key.
8. After
you adjust the wanted item by the left and right arrow keys press the [OK] key.
9. When
you will finish with adjustments press
the [User Tools] key to return to
normal.
