Increase the Font Size in Email
Email font size is easily controlled while composing messages, but the messages you receive have been sized by the sender.
Some contacts may be perfectly comfortable writing in size 8, but such text can be a strain on the eyes, even with good reading glasses.
The printed hard copies of email messages with small text are even more difficult to read.
There are a few ways to quickly change font size for ease of reading and better quality print-outs.

Open an email message with particularly small text. Increase the email font size of the text using step 2, 3 or 4.
Click on the "View" selection from the menu bar.
Roll the mouse pointer over the "Zoom" choice.
Click on one of the choices that is greater than 100 percent.
Click "View" and cover "Zoom" to make a larger choice if the first choice does not increase the text size sufficiently.

Click the "View" option on the menu bar. Roll the cursor over the "Text Size" selection.
Choose one of the options that will increase the text size.
For instance, if the current size marked with the dot is "Medium," then click "Larger" or "Largest" to make the print appear bigger.

Use a mouse with a wheel to increase the email font size.
Press and hold the "Ctrl" key while rolling the wheel on the mouse.
The text will shrink as you roll in one direction, and grow bigger as you roll in the other.

Change font size before printing.
Click the "File" option on the menu bar.
Click "Print Preview."
Click the "Size" drop down which may display "100%," or "Shrink to fit."
Select a choice greater than 100 percent to increase text size.
Click the "Print" button to view the results on a hard copy.

A Simple Way to Increase, or Decrease, Text Size

An easy way to increase or decrease text size on most any type of Windows software is to rest your cursor over the software you are using, press and hold the Ctrl key, and then scroll the wheel on your mouse forward and backward. Pushing it forward increases text size, and going backward decreases the text size. You can also press and hold the Ctrl key and then hit either the "+" or "-" key for the same results!

When I reply to an e-mail on OUtlook 2010, the font size is very small - and I cannot read the original or what I am typing. Any ideas on how to restore the normal size

Having trouble seeing that small default font of Microsoft Outlook emails? There are three ways of making Outlook email text bigger.
The first includes increasing the text size of the outgoing email messages.
The second includes increasing the text size of messages that are replied to or forwarded.
The last includes making all the text of incoming emails larger as well.

Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.
Find the Personal Stationary tab, then find and click the Font button located under the New Mail Messages heading.
On the Font tab that appears, there will be a variety of options including changing the type of font, style, size and color.

Find the drop-down menu that is under the Size heading and select a bigger number.
Click OK and the new setting will take place the next time a message is composed.

Replies or Forwarded Mail
Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.

Find the Personal Stationary tab, then click the Font button that is located under the Replying or Forwarding Messages heading.
Find the drop-down menu that is under the Size heading and select a bigger number.
Click OK and the new settings will take place the next time a message is replied to or forwarded.

Incoming Email Messages
Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.

Look for the Display Font heading on the Personal Stationary tab and increase the size the size of the font by selecting a larger number.
This will increase the text size for all plain text incoming email.
However, it will not increase the text size of incoming HTML emails.

Set the option to read all incoming email as plain text if it is necessary to increase the text size of all incoming emails.
To do this, go to Tools, then click on Options, then look for the button that says Email Options and click Read all Standard Mail as Plain Text.

Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help

How do I increase text size

Are you referring to the default text size Vista uses? Then, contrary to windows XP, in Vista you have to separately increase the text size for different instances.
1. Right click on the desktop and select personalize

2. Select Windows Color

3. Select the required item of which text size is to be increased.(for example: Icon, Message Box etc.)

4. Then you can change the text size, font, color, and font weight

How do I increase the text size on incoming e-mail or stuff I want to print. larry

The easiest way to increase the text size on screen of your e-mails and browser contents is to simply hold the "Ctrl" key and scroll up with your mouse to zoom in and scroll down with your mouse to zoom out. If you don't have a scrolling mouse, hold the "Ctrl" key while pressing the "+" and "-" sign to adjust the text size.

If you want to increase the size of the font on documents you are printing from web-sites, you have to look for the "Printer Friendly" button, or the "Print" button on the actual web-page. The developers of the article you are seeking to print have to manually do this themselves.

If it's in a text document or something similar, you can highlight all of the text at once by pressing "Ctrl+A" (The control key and the A button, not the plus button) and increasing the font size in the program you are using.

Increase text size

(Pretty vague request...)
To increase text size on the screen as a whole, lower your screen resolution in Apple Menu / System Preferences / Displays.
To increase the text size in a document, select the text you want to modify and press the key combination command-+. This works in many, but not all applications. If it doesn't work in your particular application, please be more specific about what it is.
