16H means, that the transfer belt does not rotate correctly, open all covers, remove any paper, whats stack inside, remove waste toner box, drum unit then open 2 nipple screws and pull out the transfer pelt, if the belt looks ok, reinstall everything and power on again. if works, then everything is ok, if not, then there is something wrong with TBU or TBU

Also if the tab breaks off the door that you open to remove those items, it won't allow the drum lock to release. It is a tab next to the edge that you open. I bought one the other day, and this tab was broken off. It was giving me either a 16 or 17h error. I made my own tab and it works fine.

I have a KonicaMinolta Magicolor 3730DN. It fails with Fatal error code 0F55H.

Toner level sensor for the black toner is bad or the black toner is not getting into section where that sensor is. ensure your black toner cartridge is OK

Printing problem on a Konica Minolta 2530DL. Was printing fine until we printed a set of thick labels. Now the print quality is really poor on the right side of the paper. It is both streaking and...

sounds like a lable has gotten stuck in the fixing unit, you may need a tech to remove it, do not use any sharp tools to remove it ,this could cause damage to your roller,
good luck, tinyman

Avery Labels STUCK to drum, can't figure out how to get them off

you can clean it with a little alcohol or water, just take a good look at the PC Drum and Transfer unit, remove them from printer first, find labels and with wet cloth carefully wipe it away. but you should know that even if you remove labels there may still some marks on TBU and PC drum what leads to quality problems.

Magicolor 2300DL 17H fatal - labels stuck in printer

This happened to me last week. A label (or part of it) has adhered to the belt inside the printer. It's an easy fix. Turn off printer and open the side door. Remove waste toner bottle. Lift blue handle in direction of arrow to 11 o'clock position to release belt unit. Carefully remove OPC drum by pressing and pulling handle as shown by little graphic (try not to leave this drum in lighted area and don't touch green drum with fingers). Next, remove two chrome thumbscrews (may have to use slotted screwdriver) on either side of belt unit, then pull out belt unit and inspect to find stuck label. You can rotate belt easily. I removed stuck label and then cleaned glue residue with Elmer's Sticky Out ( a citrus product with no solvents) and a soft cloth. Clean thoroughly and replace belt unit, replaced thumbscrews, OPC drum, and finally, the Waste Toner bottle. Close door, turn on printer and test.

My magicolor 2530 DL

Hi Condeleeza,

Normally smoke would be caused by label residue being left on the fuser rollers, I am assuming your use of the word label is correct and not a transparency (which is a common jamming source in laser printers) especially when someone mistakenly puts a inkjet transparency through a laser printer or mistakenly puts a clear plastic divider sheet through.
If you are sure all of the original label has come out and there is was no residue left directly on the fuser rollers, and the fact you now have smoke and an error code (which I do not have access to find service codes for Minolta), I suspect the fuser assembly is overheating now which is causing the error message (after probably 10 seconds after switch on from cold). This could mean the temperature sensor monitoring the fuser temp is either not touching the fuser due to label fragment lifting sensor off fuser roller surface or sensor is bent or damaged due to label revolving aorund or subsequent removal efforts.

Take a closer look and see if you can find a stray fragment stuck to a thermocouple sensor wiping against the fuser roller. Failing this then you probably need to send into service and ask for a quote to repair. Be aware that the fuser may have become scratched or otherwise damaged depending upon your label removal techniques....over zealous use of letter openers, nail files and small screwdrivers have destroyed many a good fuser assembly.

Good luck

this code means, youre label get stuck in TBU and the TBU is not rotating anymore, take out tbu and try to find these labels and remove them with alcohol, do not scratch the belt.
