Can I replace ving card 2800 encoder. Its so old. Have so many issues. My question is if I can get a machine and program these door locks. Can someone pls help :(

SOURCE: tapping target problem

My friends Tungsten E2 does that, he has to just keep tapping the target over and over until it procceds, thats all he can do, and it generly does go to the next screen, after a loooong while.

I had the exact problem as you, and was at my wit's end and ready to throw my Zire into the trash can, but decided to give it one last ditch effort by getting in touch with Palm tech support. Boy am I glad I did, because the solution was so easy: what you need to do is hold the power button while you do the hard reset (in the back, using a paper clip), but the key to this step is to keep your finger on the power button for a full 30 seconds. When I tried this same process before, I experienced what you are experiencing, but when I help the power button on for 30 seconds, just like the tech instructed me, it worked on the very first try. It was so easy and it fixed the problem. Give it a try!

Remove the Screen protector from the device screen and then calibrate the screen with the stylus.

If the issue still persists, perform the Soft Reset on the device.

1. Use an unfolded paper clip, or the reset tool at the tip of your stylus.
2. Gently press and release the RESET button inside the hole on the back panel of your device .
3. After a soft reset, a logo screen appears, followed shortly by a Preferences screen asking you to set time and date.
4. All data on your device should be retained.

If the issue still persists, perform the Hard Reset on the device.

1. Press and hold the Power (on/off) button on the front panel of your device.
2. While holding Power, use an unfolded paper clip, or the reset tool at the tip of your stylus. Gently press and release the RESET button inside the hole on the back panel of your device.
3. If you see a progress bar, keep holding the Power button.
4. Next, the Palm Powered screen will appear. Release the Power button when you see it.
5. You'll see a screen that asks: Erase all data? YES = "up" button NO = any other button. Press UP on your 5-way navigator to complete the hard reset.

Your device will then take you through a series of screens to calibrate the digitizer and verify the time and date.
Note: A hard reset does not delete the current date and time. It does restore other settings to the factory default.

Mid7051 sd card reads 640 meg but it's a 32 gig..

Trying to set up a mp3 player mp827.The battery is charged.
But on the screan it says Touch the center of target and hold one second. Repeat as the target moves i did that but it stays on that. I pushed the reset button and it coms back to the same thing and it will not shut off or go to menu.

My Coby MP828-8G MP3 player is stuck on a blue screen sensitivity test that reads "Touch the Center of the target and hold for one second.Repeat as the target moves." I've already tried...

I cannot go back to calibrate. Even after using reset button on back of player it turns off the player but then when you turn it back on it goes right back to the blue screen again. Cannot get out of blue screen.

I have a icoustic mp3 player which i downloaded music to but i deleted the music

The blue screen is a screen calibration. Just touch the screen exactly in the center of the little boxes in the corners of the screen for about a second and remove your finger. Do this until it says success and you should be good to go.

After a brief power surge our Vingcard 2800 stopped encoding, what do I need to do to fix?

WE HAVE POWER OUTAGE FOR 1/2 HOUR AND THEN AFTER WE TRY TO RESET OUR VINGCARD 2800 AND FOUND BLACKOUT ON SCREEN. WE CAN SEE, IF U TRY FROM ONE SIDE UNDER THE KNEE.

When my daughter touches any object with the pen nothing happens. It will keep telling you to touch a picture on the screen with your pen.

You need to recalibrate. Try pushing B, A, Hint, and Home when you turn it on. Do not have a cartridge in the player or it will think it is a regular Leapster. Once it says calibrate screen it will say to press A, then wait until a target appears in the upper left hand corner, touch it and you should hear a sound, then a new target appears in the lower left hand, repeat actions, then lower right hand screen, and finally the upper right hand screen. If it stops at any time and doesn't get more arrows, try it again or turn it off and see if the pen works. It may take a few tries to get it to recalibrate correctly.

It sayspressand briefly hold stylus on the cenyer of the target as the target moves around the screen it dose nothing at all

when it says press and hold briefly it means tap and hold briefly, and then follow the target, it is just to align the screen for your map display

so just do it carefully click between the cross hairs of the plus sign at five points one after another with a pointed object carefully then it will move on to the next screen for further setup ,

but if u r stuck at this point and u are gettin this alignment screen again and again in a loop then my friend its a hardware fault basically it is a faulty digitizer or touch panel u can say the front screen where u click with ur stylus it became faulty u need to replace it other wise it will stuck on this screen alignment process and will not go past, u need hardware replacement it is around 60 to 70 $ cost to replace just take to the service centre in ur area or find it on www.htc.com or tell me if u have somethin else to ask.........pls lemme know if it helps

Had the same problem and no target. Wait after it says touch the center of the target for at least 5 minutes maybe longer and suddenly it will beep and appear. After touching each of the 5 targets as they move from corner to corner and then center the stylus and touch screen once again worked.
