Carben,
I have the same problem and I am able to resolve it by defrosting the element which is behind the inside rear panel of the freezer. I use a hair dryer to melt the ice build up. It happbed a couple of times so I know that there is a cause for this which may be the defrost heater but I am not sure how to confirm this. Let me know if you have any ideas.
SOURCE: Freezer side cold, frige side warm
Defrost heater is open behind back wall. order new heater #wr55x10101 remove 4 screws 2 bottom, 2 top behind light shield, defrost freezer so ice is off of evap, replace heater with new one.
SOURCE: frige not cooling, freezer is fine
its the problem of defrost timer.due to this the cold air from freezer section is not getting in to refrigerator section and its getting warm.check out the defrost timer.located beside the compressor at the back lower side of the unit.the cost of new defrost timer is near to $40.and you can get it from
www.repairclinic.com
thanks.
SOURCE: freezer is 0 degrees frige side only 40 degrees
that would be a valid check
but with this model i would look more twords you thermister in the refer, if its maintiaing a constant temp, but just outta temp, its more than likely you thermistor is going bad
Testimonial: "it seems that even if I set the control to the coldest is dosen't affect the temps range"
